Chapter 21: Human form

After a fine night at the diner dad and Owba were tired. Knowing them teah they will be tired after all that walking and doing things at the shop. Lila perched on my shoulder.

"Welcome back."

"Good to be home." Walking to my room flop against my bed as I hear Lila's little claws clack against the nightstand. "You must've had a great time to be this tired. It's been awhile since you've been this way."

I chuckled. "Yeah I know. I just get to have fun with Owba and dad. Believe me I'm happy about it."

"I bet."

"Say," I turned my head toward the night stand, "Do you have a human form?"

Lila tilt his head. "Why?"

"I asked."

Lila sighed. "Yes I do but I don't like it as much as being in this form." I sat up quickly. "Well then change. This is news to me!" I yelled in excitement.

Lila flew off the nightstand onto floor. And within a few moments Lila was in his human form and my god he's gorgeous! He had medium length purple hair, lavender shade of eyes, and light mocha skin wearing punk clothing.

"Duuuuude!! You look amazing!"

Lila shrugged. "If you say so."

"Come on Lila you do, seriously. You should be in this form more often." I suggested.

"And let Mink and Aoba have a heart attack?"

"Nah not really they will understand since they have allmates as well. Did you forget that? And besides why don't you like this form?" I tilted my head.

Lila had a hint of a blush on his face. "W-well..."

My eyes widen. Lila was studdering. He never studders when speaking let alone when I ask a question. I just waited in amusement. "It's well...um..."

I grinned. "Is it because of Hurracan?"

Lila's face went red. "No! Not that that asshole!"

"Liiiiiiilllllaaa don't be so shy." I teased. "Even can see that bullshit. You're embarrassed because of him."

"Your point??"

"My point is that you must like him."

"Me? Pfft! Don't make me laugh Jaz. I don't like that stuck up cigar smoking douchebag like him." Lila crossed his arms against his chest.

"Okay then...if you say so." I got off the bed to change into my night clothes. I was used to changing in front of Lila so this was no different from his other form. "What are you planning?"

"Nothing. I got what I needed to hear." I crawled into bed. "Now then come sleep."

Lila sighed and crawled in bed with me. It didn't take him that long to fall asleep but I just grinned.
