Chapter 8: A Date

As the hours pass by after texting Jacob I was almost finished with the base of my design. And I'm glad that I was nearly finished with it. I don't know if I should go or not to the movies with Jacob or not...What if dad finds out? How would he react? Better yet will Owba really tell?

I shook my head finishing up the base of the design. Lila flew onto my shoulder. "Anything wrong?"

"Just debating whether or not should I go to the movies with Jacob."

"Ooh, so he asked you out." in a teasing tone. Dear lord Lila too. "You should go then. You're a teenager so might as well go out and have fun. Aoba wouldn't mind as long as you check in."

I guess he's right. I shouldn't worry so much on this.

"Okay."
I texted back Jacob.

I'll be there.

Within a few minutes he texted back.

Great! Movie starts @ 3 we'll be out front waiting for you.

"All set." I said putting away my design under my bed. "Now to shower."
Lila nodded flying off my shoulder.

Aoba's POV

I deeply sigh laying on the couch and somewhst tired from cleaning. "Something wrong Aoba?" Ren asked.

"Tired from cleaning. "

Ren tilted his head. "Is that all?"
Giving him a small smile, "Yeah." I petted Ren gently then drifted off to sleep.

~An hour later~

"Owba."

I heard my name being called and opened my eyes then letting out a yawn. "Huh?"

"Hey I'm going the movies." Jaz said. I rubbed my eyes to see clearly. My eyes widen. She looked very pretty. "Wow."

"Wow what?"

"I mean wow you look really pretty." I grinned and teased her. "Are you all dressed up because of Jacob?" Her face darkened and I laughed. "Awww how cute! I hope you have fun and be sure to check in with me when you get there."

Jaz nodded with a smile on her face. Then she walked out.
