Chapter 11: Figuring it out

After a long shower getting out of the bathroom all dressed in my dark purple shorts, and black rose patterned tank top. Lila perched onto my shoulder. "Do you think he's mad or something?"

Lila chuckled. "He's your father he is going to upset sometimes. Besides Mink is still getting used to the things you do as a teenager." Even I forgot that he still isn't that used to me yet. Walking down the hallway into the living room and dad wasn't even there anymore.

"Did he and Aoba go to bed?" I asked.

"Yeah they did it is late Jaz. You head to bed as well." Ren replied.

I nodded walking back to my room and heading to bed. Looking up at the ceiling for awhile then went to sleep.

Next Morning..

The sun was up and I seriously didn't want to get up out of bed. Shifting over on my right side looking at Lila. "What day is it Lila?" I let out a yawn. "Thursday."

Ugh, I have so much to do, meaning that little project I was building for myself. Beep! My coil went off seeing that it was a message from Aoba.

Hey Jaz Mink and I are out running some errands. We'll be back later.

"Okay then, I'm home alone. Which means all you can eat cereal, quiet, and more to do that little project." Lila chuckled. "Sounds like a perfect plan to me." He flew onto my shoulder as I got up to go to the kitchen. Looking around I see that Ren and Huracan both went with them. Speaking of Huracan....."Hey Lila, how are you and Huracan getting along?"

Lila just looked at me. "Alright....why do you ask?"

"Well he did attack you so I just wanted to know how you two were. I know you and Ren get along just fine even though you two disagree on some things."

"True, but yes Huracan and I both ate getting along he also apologized...surprisingly."

I chuckled fixing myself some cereal.

Mink & Aoba

"Come on Mink you can't be that upset about Jaz dating someone. She's a teenager."

Mink grunted. "It's not like I'm mad."

Aoba gave a are you kidding me look. "Yeah you were. But look I know that you missed most of her life at least loosen up about her growing up."

"....."

Ren looked up. "He's right though. Parenting doesn't come with instructions. Not everything will be perfect as you see but try to bare with the fact she's here."

Mink gave out a deep sigh. "Fine I guess I would have too."

Huracan shook his head. "Plus you have a lot of things you need to know about your daughter. All we mostly see is that she has most of your traits."

"It's funny but weird at the same time that you both kinda act the same but have different perspective." Aoba sighed. "I wish there was a way to see her a little kid and make our way up til now."

Mink shook his head. "Not possible."

"Yeah I know just saying."
