Are We Meant To Be? *2nd book of the Other Half Trilogy*

~ Ch. 1 -- 11 years ago ~

              Ezra's POV

     The Empire broke into my home. They took my Aunt and Uncle. They hid me in the secret underground room that we have. I saw the struggle. I couldn't move to help them, I'm so weak. I don't want to be the weak one! They had their blasters set to stun and my Uncle fought them off after they hit my Aunt. I cried in the underground room for what must've been hours. I grabbed my backpack, filled it with a blanket, pillow, and some food and water. I glanced at the dining table and saw the keycard that allows entrance into my house, I grabbed it, and shoved it in a pocket in my bag and ran for my life.

     I'm not going to look back. I'm going to find a way to drag the Empire out of Lothal and save people. But, I need to take care of myself before that can happen. I found shelter in an abandoned Com tower. I pulled out the locket that my Uncle said that my Dad gave to him to give to me when I was a certain age. I'll open it later, today isn't a good time.

                         Kanan's POV

     I've been on the run my whole life. Never staying at one place for too long. Never making real friend connections. Not being able to find my Other Half .That's what I used to do. Now, I plan on finding my Other Half and I've met a Twi'lek. Her name is Hera. Us along with two others, have stopped the Empire from destroying a planet. We parted ways with them a year ago and now have two other crew members. We have a Lassat, his name is Gariszeb Orellious, he prefers to be called Zeb. Then, we have our artistic Mandalorian , Sabine Wren. We have now started to rob from the Empire and give to the needy. A noble cause. Who knows maybe one day we might have more members. Ha, if that happens, were gonna need a bigger ship. Damn, that reminds me, Chopper needs to fix the shields.

                              Acarna's POV

     My mother said that I can now start training to become a Sith and a Jedi Hunter! I can't wait! My Master is her right hand man, Starkiller. She says that he is the best one for a teacher. I can't wait to complete my ultimate goal. Find my missing brother and the three of us can rule the Galaxy as a real family! The Jedi shall pay for taking my brother and Father from me and my mother!

                                      Anakin's POV

     Obi-wan, Lux and I have survived running for our lives for 11 years today. It's also Empire Day. I don't give a crap about the Empire! All that I recognize today is that it is my children's birthdays today. This is also the same day where the three of us started the 'Rebel Alliance'. We may be few right now, but, one day we will defeat the Empire and bring peace back to the Galaxy. Maybe along the way, I can find my son again.
