         Ezra's POV

It's been a month since I've tagged along with the crew. I've learned a few things about all of them. Sabine hates it when you mess with her paints. Zeb hates to be woken up from a nap. Chopper is very annoying and loves to pick on Zeb by shocking him. Hera is an AMAZING pilot and we get along really well. Kanan.......well, he's actually a nice guy, and a good Master, wait........scratch that, he's a great Master. I still find it hard sometimes when I wakeup and I'm on the Ghost instead of my Comm Tower. I also can't believe half the time that I'm training to be a Jedi. It feels like a dream nowadays. I was currently talking about mechanics with Hera when it happened. A sharp pain in my head.

"Ezra?! Ezra what's wrong?!" I couldn't answer her because the pain got worse. I know what's going on, I've had these before. "Oh my! KANAN!!" Hera said, I saw Kanan's boots as I blacked out.

There was a ship. This was not just any ship. This was an Empire ship, straight from Shili. I noticed it was heavily guarded. The ship ramp opened and out walked out some cloaked figures. Sadness was coming off of the one in the middle. I could also sense that whoever it is, the person is very strong in the Force. Agent Kallus and a Pa'uan walked up to the new arrivals. The figures pulled their cloaks down and revealed themselves. Their was a Zabrak, Human male, and two Togrutas. They all walked inside. For some reason..........I feel something with that Togruta.

I woke up and saw that my head was in someone's lap. I blinked a few times and I heard someone call out to me. I looked up and saw that Kanan was looking down at me, worriedness clear in his eyes. I was then pulled into a hug. "Oh, Ezra! I was so worried! What happened? Are you hurt?!" Hera asked as she checked me over. Her gaze lingered on my neck. "I'm fine Hera. Honest." I said, standing up, she grabbed my arm and stood up and didn't let go. "Ezra........what's on your neck?" she asked. "What are you talking about?" I said, starting to get a little nervous. The cover-up couldn't have come off from that, could it? "Ezra?" Kanan asked, he was also looking at my neck. Hera let go of my arm and tried to touch my markings on my neck. Before I could give her a chance, I ran and locked myself in the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror and, sure enough, the cover-up came off. I must've sweated it off during the vision. Kanan explained what that was a week after I started to live with them. Anyway, I dug through my medicine cabinet that I shared with Kanan and looked for the cover-up that I hid in here. I found my last bottle, opened it, and peered inside. Of course! Just my luck it turns out to be empty! I usually stay up to date in case I am close to running out. What happened that I forgot about it?! There was a knock on the door. "Ezra? It's Kanan. Is there something you need to talk about with us?" Kanan said. Uh-oh! What do I do? Should I make up some ridiculous lie? Or just come out and tell the crew that I'm a 'half-breed'? Are they going to think of my any less if I do? What's Kanan going to think of me? Wait...........why did I think THAT!? I didn't get a second later to myself before I heard the lock click and Kanan walked in. How did he? Oh wait, the force, duh! Kanan put the toilet seat down and sat on it.

"Look, Ezra......I know your past is tough. I get that you have secrets, hell we all do. But, you don't need to be so secure all the time. So, you can either tell me now what this is, or Hera and I will give you a few weeks and you can tell all of us at once. How does that sound? We just want you to trust us all more." Kanan said. I opened my mouth to say something, closed it, then opened it again. "It's not that I don't trust you guys, I really do trust you all it's just........" I trailed off, I couldn't think of the right word. "You think that we will treat you differently? Is that what you think?" Kanan asked, I nodded, looking away, not wanting to meet his gaze. "Ezra...." Kanan said, I heard him stand up. I held my gaze to the floor. What he did next took me a little off guard. He hugged me. I never let people hug me but this.........felt nice. "We would never treat you differently. We care about you." I thought I heard him mumble something but, whatever it was, I didn't hear it. I hesitated for a minute before I hugged him back. I broke the hug not too long after, turning away from Kanan, for some reason, my face is really warm. "So, when do you want to tell us about the markings?" Kanan asked, setting a hand on my shoulder. I took a deep breathe. "I guess I'll tell you guys now. I'll be in the living room in a minute. You might as well get the others." I said. "Alright." he said, then left. I grabbed the make-up remover and went into the living room. Kanan and Hera were sitting on the couch, Zeb was sitting in a chair and Sabine was sitting on the table. Chopper was next to Hera.

"So, Ezra, what is it that you'd like to tell us?" Sabine asked. I set the make-up remover wipes on the table and took one and wiped away all the rest of the cover-up. Revealing all of my markings. Sabine and Zeb both gawked at me. "Ezra......are those scars?" Zeb asked. "No, these are my birth markings." I said. A lightbulb seemed to go off in Kanan and Hera's minds. "I've heard of 'half-breeds'." Hera said. "They are very rare though." Kanan added, I nodded. "So.....do you know who your parents are? You did tell us that you were raised by your Aunt and Uncle. So....do you?" Sabine asked. This has always been a touchy subject for me. Kanan seemed to know that this was a tough subject for me because I felt him sent calming waves to me through our bond. I took a deep breathe then looked back at everyone again. I brought out the locket that was in my pants pocket. "This is all that I have of my birth parents. My Uncle told me that he was supposed to give it to me when I reached a certain age. He never got the chance to tell me the age. I'm hoping that this will tell me who my birth parents are but, it won't open. I've tried a lot of things but, nothing has worked so far." I said, setting it on the table so the others could look at it.

Hera went to pick it up, but looked at me when her fingers touched it. I nodded at her, letting her know it was okay. She looked it over, closely. She seemed to be deep in thought. "It seems to be a combination of Human and Togruta styles. I can't see a way to open it though, which is very weird." Hera said. "I hope that helps at least a little." she said, handing it back to me. "Alright, it's late. We should get some sleep." Hera said, shooing everyone to their room. When Kanan and I got to our room, he gave me another hug and went to take a shower. I slipped into my pajamas and went to sleep. The last thought on my mind being about my locket.
