~ Ch. 75 ~

                  Ezra's POV

    I can't believe Acarna lied to me! Why didn't she tell me?! I kicked the wall in frustration as I entered my room. I sat down on the bed when Kanan came in. I tried to calm down but, can't. It's upsetting when you find out your Sister lies to you.

    "H-how d-do I g-get p-past t-t-this?" I asked Kanan, through my tears. He held me close. "Patience.......and forgiveness. Not to mention understanding why Acarna held back the truth from you. Everything has a reason." Kanan said. "H-how am I s-supposed to f-forgive her? She l-lied to me!" I said to him. "I know.......and it's tough, but, the only thing that you can do is find it in your heart to forgive her. In time." Kanan explained, while rubbing soothing circles on my back, to help me calm down. It worked a little bit. I wiped my eyes and kissed Kanan. "Thanks.......I needed the talk." I said. We kissed again and there was a knock on the door. It was my Dad. "Sorry to interrupt but, we have a mission." my Dad said, we nodded and followed him. [ Skipping the meeting, it was in the last ch. ]

    Kanan and I prepped the Phantom and by the time that the others got here, it was ready to go. We took off, setting Hyperdrive coordinates for Malachor. I took a glance at Acarna and she was meditating. The look on her face...it wasn't a blank look. It was a look of pain.....and worry. Somethings wrong. Apparently, I'm not the only one who thought so as our Dad and Obi-wan also kneeled in front of Acarna. Our Dad set his hand on her forehead and his eyes went white as he did something and Acarna gasped as she opened her eyes and was brought back to us. She was wobbly on her feet as she tried to stand. The look on her face made me worry.

    "Acarna......sweetheart, what's wrong?" Dad asked her. "Mother.............she knows where we are heading! We can't go to Malachor!" Acarna said, looking desperately at our Dad. Obi-wan and Dad shared a look. "We have to go. We don't have a choice." Dad said. Acarna clung to him, desperately. "No! We always have a choice! We can't go! She's expecting us there! We have to turn back!" Acarna said, sounding panicked. She's serious......she never panics. Our Dad looked at her, sadly. "We don't have a choice this time. This is what we need to do. For the Rebellion." Dad explained. Acarna pushed him away. "SCREW THE REBELLION!!!! SHE'S OUT TO KILL YOU!!!! WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!?!" Acarna yelled at him. Which surprised me, I never thought she would yell at him like that.......It could also be her pregnancy hormones kicking in too. Acarna took deep breathes, trying to calm down.

    "She wants to kill you.....Killing you will make her stronger with the Darkside......so strong that no one will be able to stop her. I found out a few years ago." Acarna explained. "She is truly gone, Anakin." Obi-wan said. "I refuse to believe that. I know there is good in her still. I can sense it." Dad said. "You're delusional! Please! We have to abandon the mission!" Acarna tried pleading again. Our ship finally got out of Hyperspace and I saw Malachor. "We're going to be fine. There are no ships out there." Dad tried soothing Acarna. Acarna looked out there and didn't seem to relax. In fact, she tensed up. We landed in a few minutes and there were spikes sticking out of the ground. We walked outside and Kanan told Chopper to stay with the ship. The six of us walked towards the spikes and there was strange markings on the wall.

    "Acarna, can you read this?" I asked her. "No, this is a language I haven't studied." Acarna said, taking a closer look at the markings. "We studied it at the Jedi Temple. But, it's been so long I'm not sure I can translate." Kanan explained. "I'll try." Dad said. Kanan, Obi-wan and Dad looked over the text. Acarna was looking over the text, so I decided to do the same. I sensed something coming from these spikes and I reached out and touched it.........only to fall, screaming into the surface beneath us.

[ Guys...........so yes this book is coming to an end BUT...............I'm at a WRITER'S BLOCK!!!!!!!! >.< -_-  That's why this one is really short.

    OH NO!!!!!!!!! EZRA WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!?!?! Will Anakin heed Acarna's warning?! What will happen if Anakin, Obi-wan, and Kanan find out that Acarna is pregnant AND that she knew about this and STILL came on the mission?!?!?!
