~ Ch. 12 ~

           Ezra's POV

    I can't believe what I am seeing! My Birth Mother is here, but, she's like a Holoprojection. "How?" I asked. "It's a technique." she said, stepping closer to me. She was only a few inches away when I gathered myself together and took a step back. She noticed and stopped, frowning slightly. "Why...." I asked. "Why what?" she asked. "Why did you create the Empire? Why did you and Dad leave me here?! Why?!" I asked, letting my emotions overflow. She smiled sadly at me. "I had no choice, the Jedi would've taken you and your Sister from me and your Father. I wanted us to be a family. I wanted us to rule as a family. Your Father is the one that stopped us from having this future together. Your Father is the one that took you away from me and ran! I never wanted us to be separated! But, your Father did not see the same as I did, he did not want the life that I envisioned for us!" She said. This took me a minute to process. Why would my Father not want us to be whole, as a family? "I d-don't understand." I said. She closed the gap between us. "Don't worry. Everything will be explained soon. I will see you soon. I must go now." she said. I know I should not even be talking to her........she's the Empress for crying out loud! But, she is my Birth Mother. Except she is the essence of evil! I feel so conflicted! "Goodbye, my son." she said, then disappeared. I feel dizzy. Why? I blacked out.

             Hera's POV

    Ezra left after breakfast. We thought he was in his room. Until Kanan came back and looked panic stricken. "What's the matter?" Sabine asked him. "It's Ezra, he's missing. I went to go get him for training and he's not there! I don't think he's been on this ship sense breakfast!" Kanan said. "Okay, let's split up. Kanan and I will take the Phantom. Sabine and Zeb, you guys go into town and ask the people if they have seen him. We'll contact each other on our Coms if either group has found him." I said. Kanan and I went to the Phantom and Zeb and Sabine went out to the town on their Speeders. Ezra where are you?

    The sun was starting to set and we've been looking for Ezra for hours. He has me worried. But, I can tell Kanan is the most worried one out of all of us. "Zeb, Sabine? Any luck?" I asked them. "No, no one has seen him here." Sabine said. "We searched the whole town." Zeb said. I looked back at Kanan and saw he was meditating, using the Force to find him. "We haven't had much luck either. Kanan jjust switched to using the force a few minutes ago." I said. "Found him! Hera, go 20 degrees Northeast!" Kanan said, standing up. "You two head back to the Ghost. We found him." I said to Zeb and Sabine. "Roger that. Meet you three back at the Ghost." Sabine said. It only took us at least 20 minutes until we saw him, laying on the grass. I started to land the Phantom and just opened the hatch when Kanan didn't wait to land and jumped. I didn't even park as Kanan came back in, holding Ezra in his arms. I took off again and set autopilot for the Ghost. I sat across from Kanan and Ezra.

    "How is he?" I asked. "Just unconscious. I got a really bad feeling off that area. It felt like.......darkness." Kanan said, shivering at the thought. "Well, were just going to have to ask him when he wakes up." I said. We landed and set Ezra in the Medbay and checked him over for cuts and bruises. "He's alright Kanan. It's probably best that we don't wake him." I said. He nodded and carried Ezra to their room. If Kanan had a bed feeling about that place........I need to inform Lux. Maybe he can help with this. I'll do that in the morning, it is late and we all need to sleep. I locked the Ghost and went to bed after that.

[ So, yeah, it was a filler BUT!!!! Good stuff will be coming up in the next one!!!! Trust me!! Well, I think it's gonna be good, but, it might be considered a filler. Who knows? Maybe it will be both?? XD
