~ Ch. 28 ~

                Kanan's POV

    I just busted out of the room where I was being kept when I heard the sounds of an attack, which only caused me to look for Ezra faster. But, instead of finding Ezra, I found Boba. "Where have you been? You know what, it doesn't matter. We need to find Ezra and get out of here!" I said to Boba. "Yeah, I got that part, anyway, here. I took these back from the guards." Boba said, handing me my lightsaber and Ezras. "Kanan!!" I heard Hera's voice and we turned and behind us stood the rest of the crew, along with other people. I recognized one as........

    "Master Anakin?!" I said, surprised. Also shocked because I just ran into Ezra's Father, before finding Ezra. "Caleb Dume?! You're alive?!" Master Anakin said. I was going to say something when Boba interrupted me. "Look, can catch up time be later? Right now we have to find Ezra!" Boba said. "Right, right. If I remember correctly he should be............this way!" I said and ran down a corridor to the left. I heard a few grunts and what I saw astounded me.

    Ezra, was single handedly, taking on at least a dozen Stormtroopers, by only kicking and using what I'm guessing to be his 'street rat' tactics. Pretty much a shit ton of acrobatics topped off with a few head-butts. I shot at the last one and that's when Ezra looked up, and smiled at me as he ran. We hugged and he was shaking, most likely from the adrenaline rush.

    "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" I said, concerned. "I'm fine Kanan. Honest, now where are the others? Who is this group that just came out of nowhere?" Ezra asked. Hera rushed over and hugged him. "We can explain all this back on the Ghost. Now, come on! We have to get out of here!" Hera said. We all took off, Ezra, Boba, and I following the others, obviously cause we don't know the way.

    "GET THEM!!!!" I heard a man shout behind us. "BOOK IT!!" I yelled to the others. We ran at lightning speed, honestly, I don't think we've ran this hard since.......well, a few years ago. We turned a corner and only a few short yards in front of us, was our way out. Through the doors of these other peoples ship. We made it in time and I heard someone tell the pilot to take off, and go into hyperspace.

                Ezra's POV

   We just got into hyperspace and I sighed in relief, though, something does feel off. It's probably nothing. I was engulfed in a big group hug by the others. "Can't......breathe......!!" I said, then they let go and I could finally breathe again. "So who exactly rescued us?" I asked, looking at Hera.

    "We did." we all turned at the sound of the voice and I saw an older man. A lot older than Kanan, I think he's early 30's? "Fulcrum!" Hera said. "Please, call me Obi-wan." the man, now identified as Obi-wan said. "M-Master Obi-wan?!" Kanan said, surprised. Obi-wan did a double take and looked at Kanan and hugged him. "Caleb! You survived! It's so wonderful to see you!" Obi-wan said. There's that name again! Why do they keep on calling him 'Caleb'? As everyone was distracted, and I was getting very dizzy, I quietly walked away and deeper into our new 'friends' ship. Only to fall a minute later, getting a vision.

    "She is with them now. We follow her lead, then we shall have what we want." a young girl in all black said to Kallus. "She better knows what she's doing." Kallus said to the girl. "Trust in my Master. Master Acarna knows what she's doing." the girl said. "She is right Kallus, my cousin knows what she is doing."  the Zabrak, known as Dargeo said. "Alright, for now, set a course for Shili. We shall wait there for her signal." Kallus said, and they jumped into hyperspace.

    I woke with a start as someone was shaking me. "Hey, are you alright?" I blinked and saw that it was Sabine. "No, we got a problem. A big problem! Where is everyone?" I asked her, standing up. "They all went to the main hangar. Oh, and Ezra, there is someone looking for you." Sabine said and I followed her. "Who?" I asked as we entered the main hangar. I felt something with the Force and all went quiet as my eyes landed on one of the people that I've been searching for my whole life. He was talking to Kanan and some other man, then looked at me. The room went silent and nobody moved, well, except for the man as he took a few tentative steps towards me.

    "E-ezra? Is that really you?" he asked, as if I would disappear the second he took his eyes off of me. I recognized him.......the picture!! I broke my own strange trance. "D-dad?" I asked, then everything hit me at once and I ran into his arms and hugged as I cried. I could tell that he was crying too. We pulled the part and I wiped my eyes as he looked at me.

    "You've grown up. I'm so sorry for not being with you all these years! You have no idea how much it hurt to know that you would be growing up without me there! I'm just so happy that I've found you!" my Dad, Anakin, said. "You have your Mothers eyes.......and some of her markings........I see you get your crazy hair from the both of us." he said, causing us to laugh a little. Then I remembered why exactly I came here. "Listen, something big is going to happen! And it involves Acarna!" I said, getting serious.

    "Your Sister?! I haven't seen her since your Mother took her from me." my Dad said. Kanan and the other man came over then. "Oh, Ezra, this is my Master Obi-wan Kenobi." Anakin said. "Come, this is Jedi business." Obi-wan said. "No, I'm sure this isn't Jedi business. This is everyone's business." I explained. "How so?" Dad asked. "Because, if we catch the Princess of Shili, I'm sure we can somehow turn the tide of this war." I stated. Kanan smiled at me, proudly. "You're becoming a better strategist than I predicted." Kanan said. "Well, I learned from the best." I said, smiling back at him. "So, how does this involve Acarna?" Anakin asked, it's a bit odd right now for me to start calling him 'Dad'.....just not used to saying it. "Simple, I think she's on this ship." I said. That really got everyone's attention.

[ So guess what I'm going to see tomorrow!!!!!!!! That's right!!!!!!!!!! THE FORCE AWAKENS!!!!!!!!! GGAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway!!!!!!! Uh-oh, Acarna!! Their onto you!! Will the crew catch Acarna before she reveals their location?! Will Acarna be swayed to the Lightside when she meets her Father?! Who will find Acarna?? Will it be Zeb?? Or someone else?? And one last thing.............will Acarna succeed in turning Ezra to the Darkside??!!
