Are We Meant To Be? *2nd book of the Other Half Trilogy*

~ Ch. 34 ~

                     Obi-wan's POV

    "Now how am I supposed to tell you that Anakin?" I said. "Yeah............why did I ask you?" Anakin said and we laughed. You see, Anakin here came to me and asked me for advice on Daughters, when I don't even know any advice to give him. We are currently in the Ghost, Anakin wanted a small, more private area to talk. But, then, a few minutes ago as we were about to get onboard, we were assigned to go on a mission to Jakku, Hera's crew. So that's where we are now, on the Ghost, with the crew, but they are all in the cockpit. And Acarna is with us and she is currently sleeping. Anakin feels that she can start to come on missions with us. Even though we both can sense all the confusion and mixed emotions that are flowing through her.

    "I will tell you this though, she is confused, she could betray us at any moment." I said to Anakin. "She wouldn't do that." Anakin argued. "She has too much of Ahsoka in her. You know you can feel it. I felt it as soon as we caught her on our Command Ship. And now she is questioning where she belongs." I said. "She is my Daughter and she belongs with us. She knows that. Within the past few weeks that she's been here, she knows where she belongs. She's found her other Half, even though they haven't made a deep connection yet, and gotten their tattoos, she knows in her heart that she belongs with us." Anakin said. We heard running and looked in the doorway and saw Acarna running to the cockpit. We quickly followed after her.

    "We have to change course!! We can't go there!!" Acarna said. I could feel her panic through the Force. "Why? What's the-" Hera said, right when the Ghost got hit with blaster fire. "No.......he's found us.........." Acarna said and we finally looked out and saw that there was a giant Star Destroyer. "He's destroyed our hyperdrive!" Sabine shouted. "We've got TIE's incoming!" Zeb shouted. Acarna was looking around frantically. "We have to land! We can't beat him! Get to that Planet!! It's our only hope!" she yelled and Hera didn't argue and made a nosedive towards Jakku. "Who is he?!" Boba shouted to Acarna. She was dead serious as she said, "Death."

                      Ezra's POV

    "Pull up!" "We're gonna crash!" "Slow down!" "Hera!" I heard everyone shout. I closed my eyes and reached out to the Force and helped Hera stop the ship only inches from the dessert ground of Jakku. I heard people sigh in relief, then I felt eyes on me as I opened my eyes and my arm fall to my side and I lost the strength to stand and someone caught me. It was Acarna, and she looked very worried as she hugged me.

     "You are stronger in the Force than you know." she said to me. "Wait............what did I do?" I asked her, clearly confused. She looked at me with confusion on her face. "You stopped us from crashing. You stopped the Ghost with the Force." Kanan said, also looking worried as he glance to Anakin and Obi-wan, who looked at each other. "Fly low, it will confuse their tracking. Their is a town not far from here. Just go straight and you'll see it." Anakin said to Hera. Acarna helped me stand and I could sense that she was confused, then she looked out the window.........as if a realization has just hit her. Kanan took over for her, seeing as how she was about to drop me when she brought her hands to her face and her eyes were wide with shock. Everyone was dead silent until Acarna said.

    "That's my Super Star Destroyer........Wolf's Claw.........that only means that they are working together......" she said to no one in particular but, this caught everyone's attention. She ran out of the cockpit and I ran after her. I found her in her room.....packing a bag.

    "Acarna.......what's wrong?" I asked her, setting my hand on her shoulder. "They are here for me.........for us. We are putting everybody else in danger the longer we stay with them. Mother would only send him if she was desperate for our return. We must leave. You must come with me." Acarna said. "These people are my family and my other Half. As well as your family and your other Half is here too! We can't abandon them." I stated to her. She looked upset at my answer and shook my hand off of her.
