       Lux's POV

"Captain! Incoming transmission!" an officer said to me. "From who?" I asked, looking away from the Datapad in my hand. "Says her name is 'Hera' and that she's a friend." he didn't even finish the sentence before I shot out of the room and answered the call in my quarters. I haven't heard from Hera in a month and I've been worried. I smiled as she appeared. "Hey. You had me worried." I said. "Sorry about that hun. We sorta got a new member." Hera said. I raised my eyebrow, this intrigued me. "Who?" I asked her. She pulled up an image of a boy, he has blue hair that fades to brown about halfway down, when I saw the markings I knew exactly who it was. "That's my nephew, Ezra! How did you find him?!" I asked, surprised. "Wait! Love, he's your nephew? You didn't even mention that you had any family besides your parents." Hera said. "Love, it's a long story. When can you guys meet up with the rest of us?" I asked. "Not sure. We have to lay low for now. Ezra and Kanan drew the attention of this Darkside user, he's known as the Inquisitor. They tried to rescue a Jedi, but, she turned out to be a trap. Her name was Master Luminara. Anyway, we are running low on a few supplies, can you ask Fulcrum if he can find some for us? I don't think the Ghost can run on Peraguin Fuel for much longer. I don't even want to know the damage that this could cause on the engine." Hera said, making a face and flinching just at the thought of the damage that could happen. "I will ask him, and send you coordinates if he has any." I said, smiling softly at her. "Alright, I have to go now. I love you." Hera said. "Love you too." I said, then she ended the call.

"They found him." I turned and saw Anakin in my doorway. "An-" "No! Don't even say it Lux! This is not the life that I wanted for my son! They should have never even been on that Planet!" Anakin yelled, slamming his fist into the wall and walking away. Fulcrum showed up then. "Fulcrum.......I take it you heard Hera?" I asked. "Yes, I'll write down some coordinates for you to give to her. And Lux, it's best to give Anakin some space for now. He'll be fine." Fulcrum said, then left.

               Ezra's POV

I was sitting in mine and Kanan's room, sitting on the floor with the locket that my Father gave to me when I was a baby, trying to think of a way to open it. "You know, staring at it isn't going to get it to open. And you were supposed to be meditating." I looked up and saw Kanan in the doorway. I looked back down to the locket. "I got distracted." I said. Kanan walked in and sat beside me. It was silent for a moment before Kanan smirked at me. "Come on, I know just the thing to get your mind off of this." Kanan said, standing up and grabbing my arm. We left the Ghost and headed into town. We stopped a little ways away from a group of Stormtroopers.

"Kanan what are we doing?" I asked him. He pulled out a few of Sabines' paint bombs and handed me a few. "Ah, I see where you're going with this!" I said, grinning. "I only got enough to do this to two convoys." Kanan said. "So, is this part of my training?" I asked, smirking. "Yes, throw the bombs and use the Force to help your aim." Kanan said. I smirked, knowing that this had nothing to do with training. I turned my back to Kanan and aimed for the group of Stormtroopers. I threw them and used the Force like Kanan said to help hit them. It worked! They couldn't even tell where it came from! Before they could notice us, we bolted out of there. I was trying so hard not to laugh my head off! After a few minutes we found another small group of troopers. "Alright, just like you did last time." Kanan said, standing behind me. For some reason, having Kanan behind me, caused me to miss my focus and we hit........fuck! Just our luck we ended up hitting the Inquisitor! He wasn't even there a minute ago! "RUN!" Kanan yelled. It didn't do much good as the Inquisitor started to chase us. The chase ended up bringing us into an alley, trapping Kanan and I. The Inquisitor rounded the corner and smiled, evilly. He activated his Lightsaber and Kanan did the same.

"Ezra get out of here!" Kanan yelled as he clashed with the Inquisitor. "No! I'm not leaving you! I'm not losing anyone else!" I yelled and fired my slingshot at the Inquisitor. It distracted him and allowed Kanan to get some distance. Then I felt a sharp pain in my upper arm. I dropped to my knees and cried out. I saw Kanan was also in pain but, pushed it aside and came over to me. I saw the Inquisitor coming towards us. "NO!" I yelled and shot my hands out and threw him hard enough with the force that, when he hit the wall, he was knocked out. I almost passed out. Kanan caught me. "Ezra, I need you to lift up your sleeve all the way." he said. I did as he asked and was shocked at what appeared. There, in black, was a tattoo. One that I've never seen before. "I knew it." Kanan whispered to himself. I gave him a quizzical look and felt my face heat up, from us being so close. "I'll explain at the Ghost. I'm going to carry you because, you're not strong enough right now to walk. You just used a massive amount of energy to knock out the Inquisitor." Kanan said. I nodded and he ran, holding me the whole way towards the Ghost.

We got to the Ghost and Kanan told Hera to take off and go into hyperspace for awhile. He said that he would explain later. He took us to our room and set me down on his bunk, I sat up. "K-kanan.......what is this? I never had this. Why did it just appear?" I asked him, feeling oddly flustered. Kanan took of his arm guard and his shirt and I saw the same exact tattoo but, this was on his left arm, the opposite of mine being on the right. I could feel my face heating up, just by glancing at his perfectly toned six-pack. I looked away quickly before he could see me. He sat beside me on the bunk.

"Ezra, I haven't told you everything about the Jedi Order. Now, what I'm going to tell you is important." I nodded for him to continue, not meeting his gaze. " When the Clone Wars ended, the Council realized that our numbers were greatly reduced due to the war. So, they made a rule. Jedi were allowed to fall in love someone and this became known as the Jedi's "Other Half." When the Jedi found there Other Half, both halves would get a tattoo. This tattoo would appear anywhere on there body and it would symbolize that they became one emotionally and it strengthened their bond. It made them inseparable. There is only one flaw with this. The Council found out only a month afterwards when we were hunting down any remaining Sith, that if Jedi that were Other Halves went, they were marked as easy targets, only if their tattoo designs were showing. Anyway, Ezra what I am trying to say is that you are my Other Half as I am yours. And that I love you." Kanan finished. I didn't know what to say. This definitely would explain my feelings for him. Do I love him? Yes. Am I scared to lose him? Hell yeah! Am I ready for a relationship? Only one way to find out!

I looked at Kanan, he didn't take his eyes off of me. I prepared myself, then leaned into him, and kissed him. I pulled away and looked away from him. He took the chance and held me close. I closed my eyes and leaned into him. " I love you to." I whispered.
