                        Acarna's POV

"Quick and light on your feet! You may be fast but the Jedi are faster! They will kill you without hesitation!" Master Maladi yelled as I sparred with Dargeo. Dargeo is one of my cousin and best friend, and you have our friend, his name is Zalaan Raal. Dargeo is a Zabrak, his skin colors are like his mothers, we don't discuss his mom because she died only a few years ago. Dargeo is the son of Master Kasto. Zalaan Raal is a Togruta like me. His skin color is a deep red, with white markings on his chest, smaller markings on his forehead, all around his eyes, and on the middle part of his chin, and his stripe colors on his lekku are dark brown and white. Zalaan was abandoned by his birth parents and was adopted by Masters Maladi and Talon.

We are the top three in our generation of Sith. Their is a total of 12 of us. Master Talon is Zalaan's Master. Master Kasto is Dargeo's Master. And my Master is Master Starkiller. I understand that my Mom is the Empress and can't train me, but I have the next best Master in the Galaxy! I was very happy when my Mother told me that Starkiller would be my Master. He is the one who helped my Mother in bringing our rise to power!

I had just tripped Dargeo and pinned him down when we stopped when we heard. "Enough!" Master Maladi said. I unpinned Dargeo and helped him up. "Great work Acarna. Dargeo, you must learn from this. Class is dismissed." Master Maladi said. We all bowed and left the Hand-to-Hand combat training room. We bowed in respect as we passed other Sith Lords when we passed them. When we got to the courtyard the three of us sat underneath a Mailoorun tree as the others hung out with their friends of choice.

"Man! Acarna how do you always do that?" Dargeo said. "Do what? Kick your ass every time we spar?" I said, smirking. "Oohh! You just got owned!" Zalaan said and we high fived. "Oh like you could do better!" Dargeo said. Zalaan smirked. "Is that a challenge Dargeo?" Zalaan said, he's always loved a challenge. Dargeo stood up, smirking. "And what if it is? Are you going to chicken out?" Dargeo questioned Zalaan. "Oh you're on! Acarna come on let's spar!" Zalaan said, turning to me, just as I took a bite out of a ripe Mailoorun that I just plucked from the tree. I chewed and swallowed. "You sure you want to take me on?" I asked, smirking as I knew what the outcome would be. "I bet that you can't last five minutes against Acarna!" Dargeo started taunting Zalaan. I sighed and rolled my eyes at them. Boys, what are ya gonna do with them? I got into our sparring position and motioned with my hand for Zalaan to come at me. He charged and in less than two minutes I already had him pinned. "Neither of you can beat me. You both should know this by now." I said as I helped Zalaan up. "How are you so good at it?" Dargeo asked. I shrugged. "It must be my human genetics." I said, taking the Mailoorun that I was eating back from Dargeo, taking another bite.

They already know about my father being a human, they don't know his name though. Heck, I don't even know his name! Whenever I bring him up around Mom, she just gets quiet and changes the subject. I've only ever seen his picture. It's in a locket currently around my neck. My Father got me and my brother matching lockets with a picture of him and Mom together while she was pregnant with us. I sometimes don't even notice that I start to twirl it between my fingers. I only know that I do because Dargeo and Zalaan pointed it out to me one time. I leaned against the tree as I stared into the sky.

"Acarna Tano!" I heard my name being shouted and I looked up at the balcony that overlooks the courtyard. I saw that the Inquisitor was the one calling for me. He's a few years older than us, I think....6 years older? Yeah. "See ya later guys." I said to Dargeo and Zalaan. They said see ya later, and kept on bickering. I shook my head as I took off at a running start and jumped, everyone gasped as I landed on the balcony...........that was 50 ft. above the court yard. The Inquisitor nodded his head, impressed with my abilities. I never miss a chance to show off. I'm the only one that has gotten the highest jump score when we do our fitness tests. "The Empress wants to see you in the Throne room. I am here to escort you." he said, I nodded and he lead the way.
