Louis's PoV

I sit next to Alex in the waiting room at the hospital. She is still sobbing a bit. Her arm is wrapped in some type of material. I didn't really pay attention to the name. Her arm is also in a sling. She had her X-rays done already done, and we are waiting for the doctor to tell us when she will get back to us. I am on the edge. I know she broke a bone in her arm, but I'm not sure how badly of a break it is. Hopefully not too bad. Addison sits next to Alex. I haven't really talked to her, but Alex has mentioned that she is really nice. Alex insisted that I don't tell Jacob about this. I don't see why u shouldn't, but I respect her decision so I'm not going to tell him.

"Louis," Alex says. I turn and face her, "I'm sorry," she whispers.

"Why are you sorry?" I ask.

Alex sighs. "I lied to you yesterday, and I just cost you money for breaking my arm," Alex tells me. She is still crying a bit.

"Aww, Alex," my heart is aching for her. She thinks this is her fault? I don't actually know what happened, but it couldn't be her fault. Who purposefully breaks their arm? "How did you break your arm again?" I ask.

"I umm fell," Alex tells me. She rubs the back of her neck with her good arm.

"Alex," Addison gives Alex a frustrated look.

"What happened, Alex?" I ask again.

Alex groans. "It doesn't matter," she mumbles.

"Did you see what happened, Addison?" I ask.

Addison shakes her head. "I turned the corner, and Alex was lying on the couch crying. Brooklyn was walking away with her caddy friends as she was smiling. If I had to take a guess, Brooklyn did something," Addison tells me.

I look back at Alex. "Tell me what happened," I say sternly.

Alex cringes up as I say that. I take a breath. "Please just tell me what really happened," I beg.

Alex sighs. "Brooklyn pushed me over, and I'm pretty sure one of her friends tripped me as well. I tried to catch myself, but I think something broke so my arm collapsed under my weight. My arm twisted under my back," she tells me.

I am shocked. Why didn't she want to tell me this? It makes me really mad to know that Alex keeps hiding things from me. I hide my anger because getting mad at Alex won't do anyone good. "Why didn't you want to tell me this?" I ask.

"Brooklyn scares me, and I didn't want you to go get mad at her," Alex says. She sounds like a little kid when she says this.

I wrap my arms around her. "I'll have Harry go hunt her down," I smile.

"Brooklyn is obsessed with Harry. Try again," Alex smiles.

"Zayn?" I laugh.

Alex chuckles. "Sounds good," she smiles.

"Alex Tomlinson," the nurse at the desk announces.

"Come on," I tell Alex. "Addison, the rest of the lads should be here any minute so stay here." Addison nods.

We follow the nurse to a room in the back. The doctor is sitting in one of those really cool rolly chairs that I would sit in whenever I go to the doctor. "You must be Miss Alex," the doctor smiles as we walk in. Alex nods. "I'm doctor Stephen," she smiles. We sit down on the chairs in the room. She shuts the door and turns the light off. There is an X-ray of Alex's arm on the screen.

"Alex has broken both the bones in her arm, but luckily, they are only cracked," Doctor Stephen tells us. "We will have to put a cast that reaches the middle of her upper arm."
