Chapter 4

Dani's p.o.v:

It was Tuesday, only 3 more days to go. I was currently in math waiting for class to start.

"Class, today we have a new student joining us. So make him feel welcome. You can just find an empty seat" The teacher said.

The boy looked nervous, but I mean who wouldn't on their first day of a new school. He had pink hair like mine, was wearing all black. He took a seat far in the back of room and the teacher started talking again.

"Okay, day we will be working in groups of two. Your assignments on the board. Hand in all your work, when you're done. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask. Now get to work"

Great, I have no friends in this class. No one wants to work with me. So I guess I'm working on this alone like I always do. I started opening my notebook to a blank page, and flipped through the textbook and started working.

"Hi" I looked to my left to see the new kid. "Uh, I don't know anyone, but would you want to work with me. You're the only one without a partner" He smiled weakly at me. "Or not, that's cool too"

"No, it's fine" I said surprising myself. "You don't have the textbook anyway"

"Thanks" He smiled moving the desk closer to me. "I'm Michael, by the way"

"I'm Dani" I smiled back.

"Is that sort for Danielle?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No, just Dani. My parents are really into nicknames"

"Cool, I like it and your hair" He pointed out. I started blushing and covered my face. Why is this happening?

"Thanks, I like your hair too"

"We're like twins" Michael said a little too loudly, making me sink into my chair a little.

"How about we get started on our work?" I said.

"Right, right" He said giving the book a funny look. "Have no idea what I'm doing" He giggled.

"Here, I'll help. So we can get it done faster"

I think I finally made a friend.

The day went by faster than normal. I showed Michael around to his classes, found out he's some of mine as well as Luke's. I was my locker with Michael, when Calum came over. He put his arm around Michael. "Awww, look mousey has a boyfriend" I looked down away from him.

"Just-ju" I tried to say. I felt tears in my eyes.

"Are you going to say something, I thought not" He laughed.

I don't know what came over me, but I finally spoke to him and when I did, I couldn't stop. "Just leave us alone!" I yelled.

"What-" I cut him off.

"No, don't speak it's my turn. I don't know what I ever did to you, but I'm getting tired of you. You've been doing this since we were 10. I can't wait until I'm out of this school and away from your dumb fat a$$. So f#ck off and leave me alone!" I yelled at him and looked at his face. He was taking back, I call by the shock look on his face. Ashton stood there looking at me. I think he just felt awkward. After looking up at them, I ran off. Tears were coming down.

Calum's p.o.v:

I looked at her shocked. I can't believe she said that, let alone spoke. I stared down the hall as Dani ran away. "Calum, Calum!"
