Step Brother (Calum Hood Fanfic)

Chapter 7

The day dragged on slowly, why?! I was at my locker getting some stuff before heading to lunch. I closed my locker, but jumped when I saw Calum leaning against the locker next to mine.

"Hey, babe" He said smirking looking me up and down. I started walked away until he grabbed my arm and pulled me back, my back up against his chest. "Where do you think you're going?" He whispered in my ear, I could feel his hot breath on my neck.

"L-l-lunch" I shuttered nervously.

"Great, I'll walk you" He smirked. He took a hold of my shoulders and led me to the lunch room. He didn't let go of me, and lead me to his table. I looked back Luke and Michael.

'What are you doing?!' Luke mouthed confused.

'I don't know' I mouthed back shrugging. When we got to his table, he sat me down. All his friends stared or glared at me. Calum took the seat next to be and put his arm over my shoulder. Literally started shaking.

"You okay, Dani. You're like vibrating?" Calum asked. I looked down at lap, not bothering to look up.

"Cal, leave her alone" Ashton spoke up.

"But she literally vibrating" Calum said to him, taking his arm off of me.

"Dani? Are you feeling okay? You look....pale" Ashton asked. They had concerned look all over their faces. "I'm taking her to the nurse" Ashton got up and pulled me with him, Calum followed and I saw Luke and Michael get up too.

"Let go of her!" Luke yelled, grabbing me.

"We're not doing anything! Just taking her to the nurse" Ashton yelled back.

"Whoa, Dan. You're shaking" Luke looked at me. "And you're looking pale. What did you do to her?!"

"Nothing?! She sat down and it just happen!" Calum told them.

"I'm taking you home, Dan. Come on, Michael" Luke said taking me out of the school.

"We're coming with you" Calum said coming out of the school with Ashton.

"No you're not. Just stay away from us" Luke said me pushing towards his car. Calum ran to his and Ashton followed him. "Are you okay?" He asked me.

"I-I-I d-d-don't-don't know" I stuttered. Michael wrapped his around round me and brought me to the back seat. Luke got in and started driving to my house.

Luke pulled up to the driveway and Calum's car dose too. Luke picked me up and brought me upstairs to my room. He laid me down on my bed and sat next to me. Michael, Calum, and Ashton soon come in. "You're still shaking, Mike pass me that blanket over there on the floor" Michael go over and throws the blanket at Luke and then he wraps it around me, and puts his hand on my forehead. "You're not warm, which is good"

"Then, what wrong with her?" Calum asked from behind him. Luke got up and dragged Calum out of the room. Michael and Ashton stayed.

"What did you do to her? I know you did something?" I heard Luke yell.

"I didn't know anything! I swear, this time" Calum said back.

"Well, something happened. You don't just go looking like you're dying for no reason"

"Whatever, I'm leaving. I tried helping"

"When have you ever helped her?"

"Ashton!" Calum yelled coming back into the room. "We're leaving" He looking at me like he wanted to say something, but didn't and left. Then, soon heard the door slam shut.

"I'm fine, guys. Really. He didn't do anything to me. I just randomly started shaking out of nowhere" I told them.

"Really?!" Luke asked. I nod my head at him. "You seem fine now, I'll stay here just in case" He sat on the bed next to me.

"Same" Mikey smiled sitting on the other side of me.

"You guys are the best. I don't know what I would do without you"

Calum's p.o.v:

"Are you okay, man?" Ashton asked as I slammed the door shut to my home.

"Do I look 'okay' to you?!" I yelled at him. I hate this! I f#cking hate this!! He can't just do this to me, I did nothing!! I grabbed the first thing I saw and throw it at the wall and watched it smash into pieces.

"Whoawhoawhoawhoa, Calum you need to calm down" Ashton said looked kind of scared.

"I can't, and you know why! That kid gets on my nerves so much"

"I know, and there is nothing we can do about it" He said calmly.

"I need to hit something" I said through my teeth. "Preferably, Hemmings!" I marched out the door, down some stairs, and then down the street. Ignoring Ashton called after me. I will get that girl to like me if that the last thing I do. Ignoring Ashton called after me. I will get that girl to like me if that the last thing I do.

~Flashback~

"Go talk to her" Ashton told me. I've been staring her for the last 5 minutes. "What's the worst that can happen?"

"She doesn't like me" I said back.

"Go" Ash giggled pushing me towards her.

I moved the chair next to her and sit down. A few seconds later she looks up and I smile. She so cute.

"Hi" I said quietly and nervously.

She gave me a small smile and then turn back to what she was doing before. "I'm Calum" and she just nods. Why won't she talk to me? Dose she not like me? I felt like I want to cry, right now. "Well, I'm just going to go now" and I got up and left.

"So how did it go?" Ashton asked, when I came over to the table. But I put my head down and started crying.

"She wouldn't talk to me" I cried.

"She talking to Luke" Ashton told me. I looked up and wiped my eyes with the back of my hand. I felt my blood boil up inside me as I watched them.

Dani will talk to him and not me! I got up and walked over to them and pushed her out of her chair. She sat on ground and looked up at me, but she looked scared now. I grabbed her drawing that she was working on and just ripped it up and throw the pieces at her, then walked away without a word.

I'll get her to talk to me if it's the last thing I do!

~End of Flashback~

I walked down the street, pushing anyone who got in my way. I had no care in the world right now, I was just angry. All I wanted to do is see her, it scares me seeing her like this. I know I've hurt her before, but it feels different now. Like the feeling I had in 5th grade are coming back and I can't take seeing her with Luke again. Now she will the pink hair guy or whatever his name is. It like she's torturing me, without realizing it.

Then, an idea popped in my head. Luke can have her all he wants today, but tomorrow she's all mine.

Dani's p.o.v:

I was standing in the empty hallway. I slammed my locker shut and turned to see Calum leaning against it.

"Hey, Dani" He said smiling, just smiling nothing else.

"Calum" I said back. Wait, did I just talk to him. Weird.

He took one of my hand in his. "I want to tell you something, that I've been meaning to tell you for years" He said pulling me closer to him, putting his hands in my waist. I didn't move, I stared into his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes.

"What might that be, Cal?" I asked moving my face closer to his. His lips lightly brushing against mine.

"I love you"
