Chapter 25

Luke's p.o.v:

There was a loud crash from Calum trying to throw something at me. I don't even know what's going on. One minute, I'm watching TV. Next thing I knew Calum and I are yelling at each other and he starts throwing things. I don't know what Dani sees in him.

"What is going on down here and what broke?" Dani yelled coming down the stairs.

"This prîck thinks he can do whatever he wants!" Calum yelled.

"I didn't even do anything, your so called boyfriend likes to start fights for no reason" I said. "And I'm tired of it, I can kick you out Calum. This is mine and Dani's house, you just live here"

"Well you can't! Dani won't let you, right Dani" She looked in between the both of us, she opened her mouth, then closed it again. She just had a sad expression on her face. "Dani?"

I can't take this anymore. "I'm out of here" I said, grabbing my jacket and as headed for the door.

"Luke wait!" Dani said as I shut the door. As I walked down the steps and I heard Dani scream. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, CALUM?!"

I closed my eyes for a second then started walking. I didn't know where I was heading or going. I just needed to get away from him. Calum just so annoying. I was just sitting there watching TV, then he goes and takes the remote from me and changes the channel, next he's starts yelling at me cause I wanted it back. Seriously, who does that? If he can get angry that easily then I'm really concern for Dani and the twins. Maybe I should head back, but I don't want to go back and he's still there.

Somehow I ended up at the park. I took a seat on a bench and put my head in my hands. I should go back, don't want any of them to get hurt and no one's there to help them. I stood up from the bench and the next thing I knew I was face down on the ground. I turned around so I was laying on my back, I looked up to see a girl in the same position I was a second ago.

She looked at me with guilt written all over her face. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. This is all my fault. Are you okay?" She rambled on. I got off the ground and offered her a handed. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine, really. But are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine too" She smiled. I looked down then back at her.

"Your leg's bleeding" I told her. She looked down at her leg and laughed nervously.

"Its fine, I'll be okay" I wasn't having it, she definitely not.

"Here let me help you, my house is only 5 minutes away"

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. Can you walk?" She tried walking, but fail. "I guess we're limping"

She giggled, I put one of my arms around her waist and she put one of hers around my neck and started helping her walk back to my place.

"I'm Alexica, by the way" She suddenly said. I looked at her confused.

"I've never heard of that name before" I told her. "I like it" She turned away from me and I can see her cheeks turn red. "I'm Luke"

"Nice to meet you, Luke"

"Nice to meet you, Alexica" I smiled at her and she smiled back. When we got to the house, I helped her up the steps. With my free hand, I search my pockets for my key and couldn't find it. "I think I left my key inside" so rang the doorbell. Hopeful someone's home, I don't know what happen when I left.

The door opened and on one was there. I looked down and saw Luke. "Hey, Buddy. Can you let us in?" I asked. He opened it wider for us. "Thanks Buddy" I walked Alexica to the kitchen and sat her down on one of the chairs. "I'll be right back, I have to fine the first aid kit" I told her and she nodded. I grabbed a wet paper towel so she hold it over her cut while I was gone.
