Chapter 24 (Silver POV)

“Oh my god S wake up!” Damien jumped on her bed, causing Silver’s face to get repetitively slammed onto her pillow.

“What” she groaned.

“Snow!” Damien bounced her one last time.

Silver bolted over to the window. Sure enough, a thick layer of pure white snow covered the ground. There had to be at least a foot out there.

“Oh my god Dam! Snow! Let’s go!” she exclaimed, and then began digging through her closet for two pairs of rain boots. She quickly changed out of her pajamas and into jeans, rainbow rain boots, and a jacket. Damien had on her pink rain boots with sparkles on them.

“I love these squishes” he announced, looking proudly at his feet. Squishes meant rain boots in Damien.

“Stop staring at your feet, there’s snow out there!” Silver impatiently grabbed his hand and pulled him down the hall and outside to the winter wonderland.

“Dam! I’m gunna go wake up Maika, I’ll be right back” Silver said and took off towards the boys’ dorm.

Once finding his room, Silver carefully crafted a snowball. Damien smiled as she chucked it at his window. It made a satisfyingly loud smack, sure to wake her wolf up. A few seconds later Maika groggily opened the window.

“Come outside! It’s snowing!” Silver called up to him.

“But it’s cold…” Maika whined.

“Stop acting like a princess and get down here.”

“But Pretty Pretty Princesses don’t go in the cold…” Maika was cut off by a snowball to the face.

“Nice shot!” Damien clapped.

Maika whipped the snow off his face; “You are so dead!” he yelled down to her.

“Oh I’m shaking in my boots” Silver taunted.

“You should be” Maika disappeared from view, until he came out the entrance of the guy’s dorm. He started running towards her. Silver shrieked and attempted to run away, which was hard in a foot of snow. It didn’t take Maika long to catch her. He tackled her into the snow so that her lay on top of her.

“Stupid werewolf” she panted, out of breath from trying to run.

“Stupid human” he retorted.

She picked her head up slightly and pecked him on the lips.

 “I love you.”

“Love you too Gold.” Suddenly a large mass of cold and wet was dumped on both of them.

“HA! Let the world bear witness, Damien Port just owned Silver Kamarda and Maika Suliken” Damien said loud and proud.

“Hey!” Maika jumped off Silver to chase down Damien. He scooped up snow along the way, pelting Damien with it. Silver laughed, and then realized Damien was heading right towards her. She quickly made a snowball that hit him right in the chest. Damien stopped running abruptly and turned to face Silver. Maika tripped and ended up in a face-plant in the snow.

“Oh it is so on” Damien said, an intense look on his face.

“What’s on?” Maika lifted his head up and a snowball grazed the top of it.

“Snowball war” Silver smirked, holding another snowball.

“If it’s a war you want…” Maika got up slowly, “then a war you’ll get.”
