Chapter 34

Chapter 34 (Silver POV)

Silver woke up the next morning in Maika’s arms. She smiled and shifted slightly, trying not to wake him. His arms tightened around her and he kissed the top of her head. “Good morning” she whispered.

“Mmm I could get used to this” he murmured. Silver turned around to face him. God damn she was sore. Maika lightly stroked her hair and smiled affectionately at her. Suddenly the realization of last night hit her like a freight train. ‘I’m not a virgin anymore’ she thought.

“A little shell-shocked Gold?” Maika asked as he pulled her closer. “Cause I know I am.”

“Well believe me I couldn’t have waited for a better person.” Silver quickly pecked him of the lips. Suddenly her phone vibrated. She groaned and answered it.

“S! Where are you? Its prom, we’ve got sooo much to do! Get your ass down to the belated mangled wagon ASAP” Damien said loudly, and then hung up the phone.

“Well there goes our peaceful morning” Maika sighed dramatically.

“Sorry, it’s Damien, I can’t refuse him.”

“I know” Maika lightly kissed her on the forehead. “Hey, um, do you have any of my clothes? I didn’t exactly come prepared for last night” he gave a slight laugh at the end.

“Yea, I’ve got some in the drawer over there, but I’ve gotta go. Damien will eat me alive if I’m not down there soon” Silver said and slid out of bed. She quickly changed into denim capris and a hoodie.

“Well we wouldn’t want that would we? Then who would I take to prom?” Maika came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Well I’m glad my boyfriend still wants me around” Silver smirked into the mirror.

Maika spun her around and kissed her. It was the kind of kiss that made her not want to go meet Damien, that made her toes curl and her heart race, and that showed her just how much Maika loved her. When he pulled away he gazed adoringly down at her.

“I’ll always want you around.”

Silver would’ve melted into a puddle right there if she wasn’t in his arms. He let her go and she could finally see him.

He had a pair of cargo shorts with his red-and-white boxers peeking out the top and that was it. Silver couldn’t help but let her eyes wander down to his amazing six-pack…

“See something you like?” Maika asked with his cocky-sexy grin on his face.

“I see a lot I like” Silver replied, winking at him. She loved how they could still flirt after being together about six months. “But I really do have to go.”

Maika kissed her hard one more time. “I love you Silver” he said when he pulled away.

“I love you more. I’ll see you later” Silver said and left before that boy could make her stay any longer.

“Ok I’m here!” she announced as she reached Damien’s BMW.

“Took you long enough!” Damien exclaimed.

“Sorry I got caught up with, um, stuff.”

“By stuff you mean your gorgeous boyfriend.”

“NO!” Silver felt the heat rise in her cheeks.

“Sure…” Damien said sarcastically, and started up the belated mangled wagon.

They talked about prom, dresses, and who they expected to be a complete fashion disaster until the diner waitress brought their food. “So Maika stayed the night last night hm…” Damien said casually, picking at his eggs.
