Chapter 18- Friday The 13th

Léannah'sPOV

Ray and I are on our way to meet this mysterious source. I'm still scared shitless considering the fact that's it still Friday the 13th. Geez, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. I took Kaylani to Chresanto's house cause if I brought her back to aunt Tishana's house so early she would know something is up.

When we walk up to the front of the alley I started getting flashbacks of the night Trevor got shot. Everything started replaying like a movie and tears started to form in my eyes. "Don't cry Léannah" Ray said and pulled me into a hug.

"I can see everything," I sobbed into his chest "from the car to him bleeding on the floor. This is all so overwhelming"

"Shh," he said rubbing my back "the sooner we go the faster we leave"

I pulled away from him and grabbed his hand. He intertwined our fingers and we walked into the alley. The cold creepy scene sent shivers down my spine. I saw a black figure leaning against a wall in the middle of the alley. I immediately tensed up and subconsciously squeezed Ray's hand. "Ow girl," he said when I squeezed his hand "just take deep breath and calm down"

I did what he said and took deep breaths. As we walked closer to the black figure I was him smirk. I tried to figure out who it was but I couldn't put my finger on it. When we were close enough I was shocked to see who was smirking at us.

Jaden.

I knew this nigguh was into that paranormal shit. He's a fucking demon. I should've known he would do some shit like this. "Jaden what the fuck is with you sending me creepy texts messages"

I was beyond pissed off. "Well hello to you too Léannah" he smirked.

Did this nigguh just talk? I never heard him talk ever so this was kinda getting more creepy. "What the fuck is going on?" I asked slightly intimidated.

"I should be asking you that question" he said as he eyed me and Ray's hand locked together suspiciously.

"Don't try to change the subject" I said after Ray and I quickly let go of each other.

"Come on in and let's talk" he said after looking at us suspiciously.

He opened an old rusty door that I didn't even notice before. We hesitantly walked in and saw Daniel there acting all paranoid and shit. "Diggy calm the fuck down with that anxious shit, she's here you can tell her everything" Jaden said when he walked in behind us.

Daniel turned around and looked at us with scared eyes. He looked a hot mess, like he hasn't slept in days. "I'm so sorry Léannah" Daniel said with his voice cracking.

"What are you talking about" I asked getting scared.

Daniel stayed silent until Jaden spoke, "man just tell the trick what happened it ain't that bad" Jaden said in a irritated tone.

"Easy for you to say, you didn't kill her damn boyfriend you just drove the damn car!" Daniel yelled in frustration and I gasped.

"You killed Trevor?" I asked in a shock tone as tears started to form in my eyes "but you guys were his bestfriends how could you"

Daniel sighed and looked at me with guilty eyes. "The bullets were meant for you" he said and I swear my heart just skipped a beat and not in the good way.

"What the fuck you mean the bullet was meant for her?" Ray asked getting mad.

"Kayla hated you so much that she called up one of our homeboys to send some people after you not knowing that those people were us. That night we went into the alley and waited cause something told me you guys were gonna be there. Jaden was driving and Carmenella, Kayla and I pulled the trigger. The point was just to scare you and not really kill you but you dying would've been a bonus to Kayla. When the bullets hit Trevor we all went into panic mode and Jaden drove off. I wanted to confess to the police but Kayla and Carmenella said they'll kill me," he said finishing up his story. I was in tears and i was scared and shocked at the same time. "I'm sorry for everything Léannah, from trying to rape you to putting my hands on you to killing Trevor. I'm so sorry."
