Chapter 29- Meltdown

~Few Weeks Later~

Léannah'sPOV

I would be straight up lying if I told you Ray and I didn't have sex that night. I couldn't even be mad at him this time. I was tired of pushing myself away from Ray over stupid bullshit and it's mostly always my fault why we fight in the first place. I couldn't blame Ray for taking full advantage that night mainly because I made myself vulnerable and from what I understand and remember I was teasing him.

We never actually talking about the situation only because it will be awkward if we do so we just act like nothing happened. I told Aloura what happend though and Im pretty sure Ray told Chres but neither of them brought it up.

I feel a little bad about taking it that far with Ray while still being with Trevor but I remembered when Trevor cheated on me with Carmenella and that pushed most of my guilt away. I know its fucked up to bring up the past but that was the only way stop my guilt from eating me alive and keeping me sane.

Laylani and Justin are still oblivious to what Ray sorta have going on and I would like to keep it that way until they go home.

Chresanto's party was on Saturday and there was still a lot of things to be done. Ray and the guys are setting up the venue and figuring out what kind of food, snacks and drinks will be served and us girls have the task of getting the decorations and ordering the cake. I decided to take Kaylani for the week to keep me some company and get my mind off some things. She's almost 11 months and shes walking and sorta running around but all Marcus does is keep her in the house like shes a precious china doll. Kaylani is a social baby and she needs to be around other people other than her inexperienced father and messed up uncles.

After scrolling through Facebook, Instagram, Vine and Twitter for about an hour and a half I decided to get out of bed. I glanced over at Aloura who was still sleeping on the floor. Then I glanced at Kaylani who was laying next to me to see her still sound asleep with her pacifier in her mouth and her hair all over the place. She was too cute. I slowly got out of bed careful not to wake either of them and headed to my bathroom to brush my teeth. I decided Ill take my shower after breakfast.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face I went downstairs to the kitchen. Ray and Laylani was in there talking and eating breakfast when I walked in. "Good morning." I said making my way towards the fridge.

"Morning sleepy head!" Laylani greeted excitedly, Shes so full of energy but shes really shy at the same time.

"You do realize its almost two in the afternoon, right?" Ray asked with a slight smile.

"Shouldn't be talking Mister I Eat Cereal At 1:45pm." I resorted and playfully rolled my eyes.

I searched through the fridge but found nothing that interested my appetite. Since Kaylani was at the age where she can eat heavy foods I decided to make her some eggs and hot dogs for breakfast. I took the out the fridge and rested then on the counter so I can go get a frying pan from underneath the counter. "Why did you wake up so late anyway?" Laylani asked me.

"Kaylani, Aloura and I was having a slumber party last night. This girl just wouldn't sleep." Kaylani doesn't sleep during the night. Shes like a teenager during summer and I know she got that habit from the household of boys that's been taking care of her.

"Y'all had a slumber party and didn't invite me?" Ray was such a fool.

I just laughed and shook my head and started making Kaylani's breakfast. Ray, Laylani and I talked and joked around with each other. It was fun and I actually didn't mind having Layla as a sister, she fits right in. Just as I was serving the food on Kaylani's small Princess and the Frog plate, Aloura strolled in with a giggly Kaylani on her hip. "Can I take her back with me? Shes so cute." Aloura cooed and tickled Kaylani's stomach.
