"The alarms off? Are you sure you set it?" My eyes fluttered open as I heard my mom talking to my dad. I looked over to my left and noticed Ashton was still laying on the couch with me.
"Hey guys." I smiled tiredly. They both gasped and smiled.

"You're home." My mom squealed. I put my finger up to my lips telling them to be quiet and climed off the couch, trying not to wake Ashton. I ushered for them to follow me in the kitchen and they took a seat at the table.

"Sorry about the boy in the house and the mess in here." I said as I started a pot of coffee.
"Isn't that Jayden's older brother?" My dad asked me, raising his eyebrow.
"Yea, he came over to celebrate with me last night. We didn't do anything though. I promise. We made cupcakes and watched movies." I explained.

"Celebrate what?" My mom asked as I poured some coffee into cups for them.
"Dakota got into Stanford." All of our eyes averted to Ashton who was standing in the door way.
"Stanford?" My dad asked me.
"I was going to tell you over dinner tonight. Thanks Ashton." I said sarcastically.

"Oh honey we're so proud of you."
"Thanks mom." I said as she hugged me tightly. "Um but dinner is still on for tonight. I've already made reservations. Ashton you're invited too." I said as I handed him a cup of coffee as well.
