Po's heart stopped as the baby sun's gaze swept over the teletubbies. His chubby face frowned menacingly, making him look unfamiliar.
"Baby sun, we need to talk," exclaimed Laa-Laa bravely.
Po felt a glimmer of appreciation for the older teletubby, Po certainly didn't think she could have been that brave.
Po shivered again as the sun baby looked at the teletubbies again, icily.
"Hello, teletubbies," a deep booming voice shook from the baby's lips.
All the teletubbies gasped collectively. The sun baby could talk!
"Greetings sun baby," Laa-Laa said, "We have something to ask of you."
The sun baby raised an eyebrow.
"We saw runes beneath the Tubbytronic Superdome, what do you have to do with them?!" snarled Dipsy, cutting off Laa-Laa. His stomach screen lit up, showing the runes.
The sun baby's frown deepened, "Ah, I knew this day would come."
"What do you mean?" growled Dipsy,
"Everything has been a lie," laughed the baby sun, a deep booming, echoing noise.
"What?" squeaked Po.
"Fools," laughed the sun baby, "It's entertaining how stupid you are."
"Sun baby! So help me I'll come up there and-" raved Dipsy, shaking his fist.
The sun baby laughed again, "Do what?"
"Sun baby, let's get to the point, why were you in the runes, who drew the runes, what do they mean?" asked Laa-Laa, hushing Dipsy before he angered the sun baby more.
"Ignorant teletubbies, I've been pulling the strings on your life, commanding your every action, controlling your every move, watching your lives play out for entertainment," he chuckled a cold laugh that made the teletubbies shiver.
"W-what?" stammered Laa-Laa, confidence fading.
"I have control over everything in teletubby land, from the wind mill to the voice trumpets that tell you what to do, I am your overlord, you cannot overthrow me. You have been blissfully ignorant for years but those darn runes have changed that for you. Follow my commands or burn," boomed, the sun baby, growing larger and larger in the sky.
Po, Laa-Laa, and Tinky-Winky cowered as the growing sun baby's heat pounded into them, like hammers.
But Dipsy, stood tall, face firm.
"We will no longer be your puppets," he bellowed at the sun baby, fists clenched at his side.
The sun baby hesitated, surprised at the rebellion.
Then he smiled.
A gruesome smile that spread across his face.
"Fine, if that's how you want it teletubbies, we'll play this game my way!" he snarled with a malicious grin and his eyes turned a deep crimson color, the color of blood, slitted like a monster and the blue sky disappeared replaced by a deep black.
"So long, teletubbies."
