Chapter 14: A Telecast

Tinky-Winky almost jumped out of his skin when he heard the sun baby's deep, menacing voice. He, Laa-Laa and Po, all whipped around trying to find the source of the sound.
Then, with a start, Tinky-Winky noticed Laa-Laa's teletummy.
"Laa-Laa!" Tinky-Winky cried out in shock, "Your teletummy!"
"My what?" Laa-Laa exclaimed, confused.
"Look!" Tinky-Winky pointed at her illuminated teletummy.
She looked down and gasped. "Yours too!" Po shrieked.
Tinky-Winky slowly craned his neck to look at his chubby teletummy. Sure enough, there he was, staring back at them from their television stomachs.
"Ah, teletubbies," the sun baby crooned, "how nice it is to see you again."
"Leave us alone!" Laa-Laa snarled, shaking her fist furiously at the image of the sun baby.
"Tsk tsk, I'd watch yourselves teletubbies. You're never getting away from me. I won't rest until you're all caught- dead or alive. I've already managed to get inside Dipsy's head. Believe me teletubbies, it'd be better if you surrender now before it's too late. You have no idea what horrible powers I possess," he gave a low chuckle that sent a chill down Tinky-Winky's spine.
"What did you do to Dispy?!" Laa-Laa cried out in anger.
"Oh don't worry your little aerial about it. I tried taking control of Dispy but he resisted. Apparently you no-brains are less numbskulled than I thought. No matter, the bear is still on the hunt and I have more up my sleeve. Surrender now and you won't have to go through all I have planned for you. Come back to Teletubby Land, and I can erase all that's happened. You can live ignorant and blissful or die in pain and agony," the sun baby grinned wickedly.
"I'd rather die a thousand times than go back with you!" Laa-Laa yelled.
The sun baby's gaze hardened. "Very well, Teletubbies. Don't say I didn't warn you," the teletummies shut off with a crackle of feedback and the Teletubbies were enveloped in silence once again. Shaking in the dark, waiting to be pounced on.
