Noo-Noo's vacuum began to spit fire at the teletubbies as they desperately threw themselves out of the way. Tinky-Winky let out a strangled scream as he fell on his injured leg. The teletubbies scrambled to their feet to find a way to escape. Another inferno was shot at the teletubbies and it narrowly missed them, blasting against a rock and sending red hot sparks flying. The four teletubbies scattered and Noo-Noo's six spindly blade like legs began to jab after them, coming startling close to impaling the plump teletubbies.
"Come back!" a voice that sounded like the sun baby snarled from Noo-Noo.
The teletubbies payed them no attention and continued to race away from the blades and fire.
Po's foot suddenly caught on a stone and flew head over heels, crying out as her body skidded over the rough rocks. She stumbled to get to her feet but was too late. Noo-Noo activated its vacuum and Po was sucked towards it.
"Help!" she sobbed as she desperately clung to anything she could get a handhold on. The teletubbies raced to grab her and pull her to safety. It was futile, she was dragged to Noo-Noo's vacuum.
"Time to clean up this mess once and for all," Noo-Noo chuckled sickly and held up one of its blades to Po's chest.
"No!" the three other teletubbies screamed in unison, trying with all they had to reach Noo-Noo, despite the danger.
Laa-Laa felt a rush of adrenaline as Noo-Noo's blade was a mere centimeter above Po's chest. She grabbed her yellow ball and chucked it as hard as she could at Noo-Noo.
Noo-Noo's eyes widened as it noticed the ball that was seconds from impact.
"No!" it screamed as the yellow ball hit it and Noo-Noo imploded in a fiery explosion. The three teletubbies watched, dumbstruck, then remembered Po.
"Po!" Laa-Laa exclaimed, fighting her way through the smoke to find her friend.
A weak cough came from her right and Laa-Laa bent down to find Po, for the most part unharmed, on the ground.
"Po!" Laa-Laa felt her eyes fill with tears of relief as she scooped Po into her arms in a hug.
"I'm okay," Po croaked.
"Thank god," Dipsy breathed as he kneeled down next to her.
"Yeah I don't know what we'd do if we lost you," Tinky-Winky grinned morosely as he patted Po on the shoulder.
"How did you do that Laa-Laa?" Dipsy asked incredulously, gesturing to the ball.
"I think there might be more to our special objects than we thought before..." Laa-Laa trailed off remembering the portal that opened from Dipsy's hat and Po's scooter.
"I think we have a way out that's been under our noses the whole time," Laa-Laa said thoughtfully.
"Don't try," creaked a voice from behind them. The teletubbies all jumped and turned to find Noo-Noo's crippled body mutilated on the ground.
"The- the S-sun baby can't be beaten, its better to give up," it shuddered and the life left its mechanical body.
The teletubbies looked solemnly at their once friend and felt grim determination fill them. They wouldn't give up. They would live. And overthrow the sun baby.A/N: Updates will be slow until the end of October. I have a lot of free time in the car today and Sunday so maybe more updates? I'm not sure.
