"Miss may nag papabigay po. Ehhh!" ani Mel sabay tili nito.
I looked at the card, and I almost throw it in garbage can. The jerk is back in town, the nerves of that man!
"Itapon mo ito Mel, at wag na wag kang tatanggap ng flowers kung ibibigay saakin, maliwanag ba?!" napipikon kong sabi dito. Hindi ko kailangan ng mga ganyan.
"Miss Abigail, sayang po eh, at tsaka ang gwapo po ng nag abot nito, parang pamilyar nga ang itsura eh. At Hot po! Sobrang gwapo talaga.." Mel said dreamily.
Sarap batukan ng babaeng ito, di ba nito napansin na naiinis ako? "Mel, could you throw that garbage? And I'm not in the mood right now, so please."
"Miss, sayang po talaga eh, pwede bang akin nalang toh? Ang gaganda ng daisy halatang mahal, hehe." pa cute nitong sabi.
"I don't care, basta wag paharang harang sa mata ko yang bulaklak na yan, okay?"
"Okay po." She said while sniffing the garbage, I mean the flowers and walk out the door.
I sigh. I don't know with James why he sends me flowers, and for sure, siya yung nag abot ng bulaklak sa secretary ko. I laugh sarcastically in my mind, what does he wants?
Kasi kung makikipagbalikan siya sakin, ang kapal ng mukha niya. Kung manghihingi naman ng tawad, hindi na kailangan, I've moved on already, ngayon pa? kung ano pa ang dahilan niya wala na akong pakialam.
I startled when my phone suddenly vibrated, I picked it up and I saw its unknown number.
"Yes hello?" I answered it.
"This is Azul." My heart suddenly assault in his voice. Like, what the hell?!
"Yes Sir. Ano po kailangan niyo?" I give all my effort not to stutter. Mag papacheck-up ako mamaya. May sakit talaga ako. And why he's calling me on my private number?
"I just wanna tell you that I will be gone in one week, I'm going to Japan for business." He informed me. And I am confused, bakit nag papaalam siya sakin? Secretary niya ba ako?
"Sir, if you'll excused ..." di ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko dahil bumukas ang pinto ng opisina ko. Well, sino pa ba maglalakas loob pumasok ng walang paalam? Edi ang may ari ng companya!
Binaba ko na ang cellphone at tumayo. "Sir, what brings you here?"
"Abigail, I know you have many questions." He sighed and looked at the ceiling. Magsasalita na sana ako pero di ko na nagawa. Hinuli niya ang mga mata ko at nagsalita.
"I just want you to know, that I'll be gone for a week. That's all." Nagtitigan kami, there's something in his eyes that makes my senses numb, di ako makaimik agad.
Una siyang bumitaw at tatalikod na sana ito ng nakaroon na ako ng lakas magsalita.
"Bakit mo sinasabi saakin kung aalis ka? Ano bang nangyayari sayo? Is this about the "you like me" thingy? I don't buy that because I'm not in the mood in this kind of joke!" I don't care if I'm going to be fired for telling this to him! My blood rises in the 9th level in frustration!
He faced me again, and damn that serious face! He walks closer to where I am standing. And boy, I need a check up immediately, if my blood rises in frustration just a second ago, my heart beats so loud now.
"Yes. This is about being me liked you..a lot." He moved his face closer to mine. I can't breathe this time! My mind is shouting in something, pero para akong naging tuod sa kinalalagyan ko! Gusto kong umatras pero di ko magawa. Naamoy ko rin ang mabango niyang hininga! God help me! We're just an inch away!
