cHAPTER 15- girls talk
I parked the car to the other side of the White House. I'm a little bit nervous that maybe Abigail would not understand.
The moment she asked about what we have, that moment I decided to introduce my past life. Let's just say past is past, but I believe that what happens in the past that's who you are in the present. And the people around me, especially the people I got here in this island are from my past.
"Are you ready?" I asked her and hold her hand. I just love holding her soft hands. She just nodded at me.
I opened the back door and entered the tunnel, yes, it's a tunnel. I picked the flash light that Roger prepared; he always put it in the back of the door.
Naramdaman kong humigpit ang pagkakawak niya sa kamay ko, kinuha ko ang kamay kong nakahawak sa kanya at inakay ito paakbay, she immediately put her two hands on my waist.
I just smiled; I like her being this close to me, though I'm having a hard time controlling my other member. I shake my head of what I'm thinking.
"Azul, di ka naman bampira diba? bakit ba tayo dito pumapasok?" she asked, natatawa ako sa pinag iisip ng babaeng ito.
"Azul naman! Sumagot ka nga! Maybe you will offer me to a cult!" nanginginig pa ito. I laugh out loud, Jude! This girl! She's so alluring when she's thinking like that!
"Azul nga!" kulit nito sakin. Kinurot pa nito ang tagiliran ko. tawa lang naman ako ng tawa.
"No sweethearts, why would I give you to those lunatics?"
"Ehhh!!! Bakit tayo pumasok dito? Nakakatakot kaya!" she speaks like a child and she holds me tighter now.
"This is my secret place, malapit na tayo."I console her, parang takot talaga eh.
When we reached the main door, I put the pin in the security lock. I really put high tech security, for safety purposes. The moment I opened the door, Abigail let go of her hands from my waist and walk inside.
Her eyes widen. I know, she's thinking again crazy thoughts.
"You're a gangster?!" high pitched niyang tanong. See? Gangster?! Tsk! It's just for kids! Inilingan ko lang ito.
She roamed around. The place was big, when you entered, the first to welcome you is the shelves that form a line and it's full of all types of guns. Five form of lines. The other lines of the shelves are books, the others are for mercenaries and military stuffs. You can see in the end is my office table and a big flags of the countries I've been to.
I followed Abigail there; I see her taking time looking at the photographs I displayed.
"Enjoying?" I asked her. Nagulat pa nga ito.
"Who are they? Is this you?" she picked the frame where John, Matt, Iris, Axel and Me smiling in the photo. She traced my face in her delicate fingers on the photo.
I smiled, it's been long time. "That's my bothers, I mean my comrades." Kinuha ko sa kanya ito. itinuro ko sa kanya ang bawat isa at ang mga pangalan nito. Tumango tango lamang ito.
"Where are they? Akala ko talaga sa pilikula ko lang ito makikita, pati pala sa totoong buhay?" I love how innocent she is. It's refreshing.
She walks and sits in my swivel chair like a queen. "Care to tell the story of all this?" she demands. My queen she is. I don't want to let her go. She's mine from the moment she said yes to me.
"At first I'm a mercenary, sweethearts, actually me and axel for 5 years. The three boys are from CIA and FBI. They are our enemy, but some things changed and we end up working together for good." She just listened to me and let me talk.
