George:„I hope you understand…”

“Of course I understand. But it doesn’t mean I like it.”
“I know. I’m sorry, I’m the worst boyfriend ever…”
“I can’t know that, ‘because you’re not my boyfriend anymore. Good luck with your carrier George.”
“Wait, (Y/N)! Don’t leave like this. I don’t want us to separate like this.”
“I’m sorry. I’m not angry with you. I wish you the best. But you can’t expect me to be smiley when you just broke up with me. I have to go now…”

Although it happened several months ago, you still remembered it as if it had happened yesterday. You really did understand. George got through XFactor! That’s a huge opportunity. But you couldn’t understand why he couldn’t have it both: carrier and love. You still loved him. It still hurt. But life didn’t stop. You had to move on. One day you were on your way home, sick from seeing his face all over the magazines, when you found something you didn’t expect. A bouquet of your favourite flowers lay on your doorstep. You looked around but there was no one around your house. You noticed a little card inside the bouquet saying : “Follow the flowers!” Confused, you looked around and noticed little flower pieces leading down the stairs in front of your house, and towards the little park near it. As you followed the clues, the view just got more and more beautiful. More flowers, little lampions and finally the goal. The flowers led you to a blanket and a basket. A cough from behind you made you turn around and have your voice hitch at the back of your throat.
“Hi (y/n)!” George said sheepishly.
“George? W-what are you doing here?”
“Officially, I came to visit my family…but right now, I’m standing in front of the most beautiful girl in the whole Universe, ready to confess my love for her. I know you probably don’t want to see me, but this time spent without you made me realize how much of an idiot I was. I love you (y/n). I’ve always had and I always will. I thought breaking up with you was a good idea. An idea that would help me fully concentrate on my carrier, but I was wrong. I can’t stop thinking about you. I can’t stop hating myself because I let the best thing that has ever happened to me go. I can’t bear the thought of you being someone else’s. I need you. And if you took me back, I promise I’d never ever let you go. I’ll be the best boyfriend that I can be, I’ll be there for you, I’ll do anything! Please…I love you.”
“George…”
“Please…I can’t go on without you.” he stepped closer, his nose nearly touching yours.”
“You hurt me in a way no one has ever done before. What if…” you got interrupted by his soft lips on yours. It felt so good. So right. After months of missing that sensation, you finally got him back. You had to pull him closer, you had to feel his hands around your waist. You felt as if you were in heaven. It almost hurt having to break away for air.
“One more chance, Shelley. Don’t screw it up.” he smiled, his forehead resting on yours, his beautiful brown eyes burning into yours, making your heart melt.
“I won’t. Thank you, love. I missed you so much.” After he re-connected your lips for another breathtaking kiss, you two had a nice picnic, just enjoying each other’s presence. It was a beautiful second-start of your relationship.

Josh:“I really don’t feel like going out today Tom!”

“Come on! You’ve been saying that for weeks! You have to go out!”
“I don’t want to, okay?”
“No, not okay! You and I are going to the cinema right now! I won’t let you cry over that jackass any more!” You really didn’t have choice, you’re best friend, Tom dragged you into his car and drove you to the cinema.
“I’ve got a bad feeling…” you mumbled as Tom bought your tickets. You had one condition though, no romantic films, so he chose an action movie.  Halfway through the movie, you felt Tom lean close to your ear.
“That guy over there keeps staring at us.” he whispered. You followed his finger with your eyes and indeed, there was a guy obviously looking at you. You tried to get his features out in the dark room, but it was hard. You were about to give up, when something happened on the screen that lit up the room a little. Your heart immediately dropped as you recognised your ex-boyfriend in the guy. You quickly turned your head, not being able to see his face any longer. It made you remember things that were too painful. For the next 10 minutes, you tried to ignore him, but he –quite rudely- kept his gaze on you. Finally, you couldn’t take it, so you excused yourself and stormed out of the room. You heard heavy footsteps behind you, and kept praying that it was Tom who followed you, not Josh.
“(y/n) please wait!” Crap. That definitely wasn’t Tom. You kept your pace not even bothering to look behind you.  The footsteps got louder and soon you felt someone grab your arm and turn your around.
“What?” you asked, annoyed. he was taken aback by your cold welcoming that only made you more annoyed.
“You didn’t expect a warm ‘welcome back’, did you? I’m sorry for disappointing you.” You tried to leave, but his grip became stronger on your arm.
“You’ve got every right to hate me, but please hear me out.”
“I don’t hate you Josh… I just…I have nothing to say to you. Please let me go.”
“I’ll let you go if you promise you won’t leave. You know why? Because I do have a lot to say.” He waited a few seconds, then slowly let go of you.
“Look, I know I acted like a douche and that you deserve so much better. I’m so selfish, because I know you could have a thousand times better than me, and you might as well have it already. That guy you were with…does he treat you right?” You were just about to tell him Tom was just your best friend, who you could never love like that, but a better idea occurred in your mind.
“Yeah, he’s great.” You almost regretted saying that as he bent his head down and then looked up at you with his eyes full of sorrow.
“Good. I guess I have to let you go then, right?” You gulped as you noticed his eyes glistening with tears. “But let me just say this. I’m sorry. I’m sorry I wasn’t good enough for you. I’m sorry I didn’t go after you the night you walked out of my life. I’m sorry I’ve never let you know how much you mean to me. Because you do mean so much. You mean everything to me. I’d give up my whole life just to have you back. But all I want for you is to be happy. And if you are with that guy, well then so it be. He’s a lucky lad I hope he knows it. Please know that you can always count on me, okay? If you need me, just give me a call. I’ll forever love you (Y/N/N).” He took you into his arms and pressed his lips to your forehead, before broke away with a sigh and turned around to exit the cinema. You, however, couldn’t let it happen. Being in his arms again made you realize how much you need him. You grabbed his hand and crashed your lips on top of his.
“He’s not my boyfriend. Why didn’t you tell me those things before?”
“Because I’m a fool. I’m a fool without you.”
“That’s cheesy.” you chuckled.
“Can we give it a second chance, please?”
“Yes…but don’t make me regret this decision.”
“Never.”

JJ:You didn’t even remember where it all started, or what you were fighting about. All you knew is it kind of became a contest of who can say the meanest things and JJ was winning.

“Fine, I’m done! I’m done with you and this relationship!” You screamed through your tears and ran out into the pouring rain. The weather matched your mood as you walked towards the train station. You needed your best friend, but she lived in another town, so you had to take the train to get to her. Luckily there was some money in your pockets, but you left everything else at your now ex-boyfriend’s house. You couldn’t believe how things got out of control. As you got to the station, you sat down on a bench to wait for the train to arrive. Your sobs got stronger as realization kicked in, you just broke up with the guy you truly loved. You never meant it to happen, it was just the heat of the moment and the anger built up inside of you that made you say it out loud. There was no way he’d come after you- you thought. Why would he? He can have girls so much better than you. You never understood why he was with you. You were shivering in your drenched clothes, but luckily the train was going to arrive in 5 minutes. You stood up and walked forward, keen to feel the warmth inside the vehicle, when you heard a desperate voice calling you. You turned around to see JJ running towards you.
“Darling you’re going to get sick.” he said as he took off his big coat and put it on your shoulders. You both stood in front of each other in silence, until you broke out in loud, heartbreaking sobs and jumped into his arms.
“I’m sorry!” you said in unison.
“Shh, it’s okay. You know I didn’t mean those things, right? I’m sorry I let it all out on you. “
“Why did you come after me?”
“What? How could I not come after you?”
“Well, you are you, and I’m just me. You can have so much better than me.”
“See, that’s where you’re wrong. I couldn’t let the best thing in my life just leave. You’re the most beautiful, caring, kind, the smartest, funniest girl I’ve ever met in my whole life. Please come back home.”
“Do you promise we’ll never fight like that again?”
“Never, ever again!” Then you shared your first kiss in the rain, and went home. Indeed, you got sick, but JJ was there for you the whole time, taking care of you like you were the most important thing in his life.

Jaymi:In the past few weeks, Jaymi got some kind of a parrty fever and had been out almost every day, missing out on countless of programs you two had planned. This time you were not in the mood to swallow it. You had probably the worst day of your life, starting with being late in the morning due to the exhaustion that was caused by taking care of a drunk boyfriend in the middle of the night. Then you got yelled at, you fought with your best friend, got coffee spilled on your brand new white shirt and so on. All you wanted to do was cuddle with Jaymi and watch a movie. He, of course, had other plans. When you opened the door of your bedroom, you saw him getting ready.

“Going out again?”
“Yeah.”
“Can’t you just stay home for once?”
“No. Why don’t you come with me?”
“No, I’m really not in the mood. Please stay home.” He got so angry for no reason, you were paralyzed. He yelled at you about how lazy you are and no fun at all. You guessed he wasn’t completely free of alcohol.
“I don’t care okay? I’m going out end of story!”
“Fine. Don’t even bother to come back!”
“I won’t!” and he didn’t. You stayed up until 4 am, but he never came back. Days past and you heard nothing about him. You didn’t dare call him, since you were the one who broke it off with every right. He was acting like a jerk and if he can’t see it then you’re maybe better off without him. At least that’s what you said to make yourself feel better. One night you missed him so much, you literally cried yourself to sleep. You woke up when you felt the bed shift beside you, but you thought you only imagined it. That was until soft fingertips caressed your wet cheeks. Your eyes fluttered open and landed on the figure of Jaymi’s.
“Hi beautiful!”
“Hi.” you whispered half asleep.
“I feel like an ass for making you cry.”
“You are though.”
“Always honest.” he chuckled.
“Look…I needed a few days, but I realized how stupid I was. You needed me and I walked away. You’ve always been here for me, and I should’ve been here for you too. To tell you the truth, it wasn’t even fun going out without you. I guess I just wanted to seem cool, but I already am when you’re next to me. If you ever took me back, you’d be the first thing in my life. Nothing’s more important than you…so what do you say? Does your stupid, dumb ass boyfriend deserve another chance?”
“I’d love to hear more of those accurate attributives, but…I love you Jaymi.”
“I love you too. Thanks for believing in our relationship.”
