It has been a very busy week.
Trainings, and school in between. Nawala ata completely ang social life ko. I dont get to stroll around anymore. Pano ba naman kasi if di ako pagod sa training, andami namang pinapagawa ng mga profs namin.
So here I am again. Sitting on the gym floor. Training as always. And since pinatawag si Coach Tai ng management saglit, we have a longer than usual break.
My teammates and I are too drained to even talk about anything. Lahat kami nakaupo, not saying anything, trying our best to relax.
"Hi girls!"
Napalingon kami sa entrance ng gym, and we saw Kief holding a stack of what looked like food packed in styro containers. Most of us smiled at him as he approached the bleachers probably to put them down.
Jho: Ano ginagawa ni kuya dito? Di naman yan napapasyal dito ha.
Bea: Not just that. Di kaya yan namamansin. What the hell happened and parang nagka miracle?
Ella: Girls, I think the better question is who happened.
Just as they were about to get on with the whispered conversation, Kief came up behind me.
Kief: Ano girls gutom naba kayo? I brought you dinner.
And by the sound of dinner, lahat sila nag cheer, stood up and went on to the bleachers to get their food. Sus mga to kala mo pagod kaya antatahimik, gutom lang pala.
I was the only one left in what was a circle moments ago. Kief offered me his hand. I took it and stood up. We walked in silence until we reached our teammates. They were already going gaga over the food.
Ly: Awat muna girls. Dont you think a proper introduction is necessary?
Kief: Nah Ly, okay lang. Let them eat.
Marge: Okay lang naman pala Ate Ly e. Mamaya nalang namin kilalanin si Kuya. Gutom na kami e.
Bea: Besides, who doesnt know Kiefer Ravena, Ate Ly?
Ly: Yeah but he doesnt know all of you.
Kiefer handed me a packed box and utensils.
Kief: Awat na, Ly. Ill get to know them later. For now, kumain ka muna.
I had nothing else to say but thanks. And since mej may pagka engot siya, he forgot to consider himself when he ordered the food. Nagkulang ng isa kaya nag share nalang kami. It wasnt a problem really dahil madami talaga yung food. Well, except for the fact that, tangina kinikilig ako.
We were in the middle of the meal when Ella decided to speak up.
Ella: So Kief.. Bakit ka napadaan? It's surprising.
Kief: Well, mostly because I want to know the team since one school lang tayo. And also...
Jho: Hulaan ko kuya, may crush ka sa team no? And nagpapa goodshot ka?
Kief: Haha no. But I sure wanted to see someone here. Kausapin ko lang sana since I havent seen her in more than a week.
Hala sino?! I was too perplexed as to who he was referring to when I saw him wink at me. Laglag puso ko beh.
Kief: Ano Ly, okay lang ba kausapin kita?
The ladies looked at me with questioning looks. I dismissed them. I nudged Kief.
Ly: Hinay hinay ka nga. Tingnan mo yang mga yan, kung anu-ano na iniisip.
Marge: Wow Ate Ly, pano mo nalaman?
