It's a Saturday.
As usual, training na naman kami. What's new. Mej malayo pa naman ang season namin pero iba talaga si Coach Tai gusto talaga niyang mag train hard kami lagi in preparation. Kaya minsan nalang kami nagkaka free weekends.
Anyway, nakakapanibago. Nagsimula na kasi ang basketball season and normally, Kief would be here at this hour, but since may game sila bukas, nasa training siya.
Have I not told you? Official status nalang talaga ang kulang samin. Our relationship isnt real pero parang improving. Atleast ngayun hindi na masyadong awkward especially when we're with other people. Nakikilala na rin namin ang isat isa kaya the pretending that we're inlove is somehow easier. Pero love ko naman talaga siya. :)
Jia: Ate Ly! Warmup na daw andito na si Coach!
I was pulled out of my reverie. I ran back to the court and participated in the warmup. Since di pa naman namin season, nakakapasok pa ang mga outsiders sa gym to watch our trainings. And from what ive observed mej madaming tao ang nanunuod samin.
Anyway, we went on with the drills since tapos naman na kami magweights in the morning. Dig, set, palo. Pinapatay na naman kami as usual.
Later on, nagbreak narin si coach. Oh gosh, finally. Kailangan ko na talaga ng water kundi mahihimatay ako ng wala sa oras. I rushed back to the bench to get my bottle.
As I was drinking, may narinig akong biglang naghiyawan. Nakakacurious kaya I lifted my gaze towards the bleachers.
Kaya naman pala, may unggoy na gwapong dumating. But wait... What the heck is he doing here?! Dapat nasa training to e! Pasaway talaga! Argh! Di ko nalang siya pinansin and went back on the court.
We continued with the training. I dont know pero I am always motivated when he watches our trainings. Not that im not motivated pag wala siya, pero may extra boost lang talaga siyang effect on me.
I seemed to spike harder. No, I knew I spiked harder. After an amazing front line kill, I turned to see if he was watching. Kasi naman he always challenges me to make a frontline kill.
But what I saw made me cringe. He had his arm snaked around the shoulders of a girl - a fan i suppose since she was sitting with some members of our fans club. Uminit ang dugo ko sa nakita ko and my mood went sour real quick.
I hated myself. I hated the fact na tangna nagseselos ako even when I am not supposed to. Maybe because I knew deep inside magagawa niya akong iwanan as easy as he got me to say yes to his favor. Aside sa label na girlfriend, wala naman talaga akong ibang pinanghahawakan. Wala naman talaga sakin ang puso niya.

Ly: Jia! Set mo nga sakin yang bola!
Jia happily obliged and gave me a perfect set. I was so mad I hit the ball as hard as I could and since saktong angle naman, I targeted the both of them.
Baaaaaaaammmmm!
Yun! Sapol! Natamaan si Kief and I was sure he was pretty hurt! I just looked at him as he looked at me and turned around quick after.
Ella: Kargadong kargado a! Aminin mo, sinadya mo besh nu?
Ly: Di.
Jia: Wow Ate Ly! Nagseselos ka noh?
Maddie: Ay sus! Kung ganyan pala magselos si Ate Ly, sabihin natin kay Kuya tumabi siya sa mga girls every game natin para laging bagyong baldo in the building.
Inaasar nila ako pero di nalang ako nagsalita pang muli. As for Kief, he seemed to get my message since he moved places. Naupo na siya katabi ni Mona sa bench.
