Later that day, after lunch and two three-hour classes later, I found myself going towards my car. Hay what a day. Buti nalang we are not yet into rigorous training kundi lantang lanta ako everyday. What more if I decided to still have work on these days di ba?

Supposedly, I had a very important paper to finish for one subject. I knew kasi that I only had the weekdays for it. Mahirap na kasi jam-packed ang schedule for the upcoming weekend. But, Ella had texted me earlier in the afternoon that the team wanted to hang out so badly and invited me for dinner. Alam ko naman na ako magbabayad sa dinner na yun since matagal nga akong missing in action, but I'd gladly do so. Makabawi man lang ako kahit konti sa kanila.

It's almost seven in the evening and evidently, kokonti nalang ang mga taong narito pa sa school. I mean, compared to the percentage of people in day classes, this is a relatively quiet night with only the few people in night classes around. Most of them pa are in their classes. I breathed in the unfamiliar scent of the fresh breeze. This I missed. Before kasi I would always be in a hurry to get in my car to attend to extracurricular engagements. This time I didnt have to and it made me realize how much of the simple things that used to make me happy I have neglected for a fast-paced life.

"Hey."

Someone spoke behind me. I was somehow startled but the voice was familiar. I simply turned to him. Noon pa, kilalang kilala ko na siya.

Ly: Hi, Josh. Gawa mo rito?

Yup, it's Josh - the same Josh I saw with Mika when Kief and I were at the mall last year, and the same Josh na kaklase ko nung high school. Lately, he has been seen in our campus often even though he was from another school. Well, let's just say we've worked on a project together and given that we were friends since high school, we clicked agad kaya we have gotten a lot closer.

Josh: As if you're not used to seeing me here.

He rolled his eyes and I just laughed. Grabe, he looked dashing even with only the moonlight illuminating us. I mean, he was always good-looking mas lalo lang na enhance when he developed. Anyway, I moved closer to him. He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek naman agad.

Josh: Are you going somewhere? Let's have dinner. On me.

Ly: Na naman? Sawa na ako, Josh. Gabi gabi nalang kaya tayong magkasama mag dinner.

I pouted. Totoo naman e. Lagi kaming magkasama kumain. Either we meet up somewhere or bigla lang siyang susulpot dito para sunduin ako. It was slowly becoming routine. And if you're asking if siya ba laging nanlilibre? Of course not! Asa pa. It was actually only the third time in a month na he offered to treat me. KKB lang din kami mostly which was more than fine with me. Kakahiya naman pag nagpapalibre ako lagi.

Pinitik niya ako sa noo before giving me a side hug.

Josh: At kelan kapa umayaw sa libre ha? May sakit ka ba?

Ly: Oy grabe ka! It's just that I'm gonna have dinner with my team tonight. And don't even ask if you can come cos the answer is no.

Josh: Luh siya o. I wonder kelan mo kaya ako ipapakilala sa kanila.

I slapped him on his arm. Eto na naman siya. Matagal na niya akong kinukulit tungkol diyan but I always said no. I mean, I havent gotten the time to do it yet, and mej shaky pa ang relasyon ko sa team given that I havent given them enough time at all the past few months. I think this would only strain my relationship with them a lot more than I would want.

Ly: Yan ka na naman e! Soon, okay? You know naman na ---

Josh: Yeah, yeah. Babawi ka pa sa kanila. Anyway, I understand. Should I bring you there or...
