Cebu went well.
Gaya nga ng sabi ko nag canyooneering lang kami on Saturday tas slight visit sa shrine ni Mama Mary. Pagkatapos nun, nag overnight nalang kami sa may Oslob para maka pag whale shark watch kami early morning ng Sunday. We directly went to the city afterwards, rested a bit, went out to buy more pasalubong, and slept. It was early Monday morning when we boarded a plane back to Manila.
That was a week ago already.
At ngayon, heto ako puspusang nag -eensayo. Back to the grind na rin kami after that weekend vacation. Konti nalang at magsisimula na ang season namin. Yung kila Kiefer, patapos na. I know I actually have not mentioned a lot about our sports lifestyle lately pero we've been carrying it on and it's actually faring really well. And no, I actually have not watched his games live. Ayoko e. And besides, umiiwas na rin ako sa issue because frankly, the rumor mill is starting to go crazy again. Thanks to our sightings here and there these past few days.
And nothing's new as well about Kiefer being up extra early just to watch me practice. Though maaga rin talaga sila nagjojog, it's still not enough excuse considering that training nila is in the afternoons. Anong ginagawa niya? Well, kinukulit lang niya teammates ko pati coaches and usually, when we have tune up games, nakikisali rin siya. Duh, he has some volleyball in him too. Mommy niya kaya si the legendary Tita Mozzy.

He came up behind me. I was sitting lazily on the floor. Break daw muna sabi ni coach. Good thing dahil pagod na pagod na ako. And I was also in deep thought. Pero wala naman talaga akong iniisip.
I shook my head, as he gave me my water tumbler. Nagpasalamat nalang ako sa kanya. Yup, he had become my personal waterboy. Buti nalang my teammates already warmed up to the idea kaya natotone down na asaran.
Agad naman siya umupo sa tabi ko at pinunasan ang pawis sa mukha ko.
Kief: Lamo ikaw, dungis dungis mo.
Ly: Mahal mo naman..
I winked at him. He just gave me a frown.
Kief: Buti nalang talaga mahal kita, kundi wala kang napakagwapong alalay ngayon. Swerte mo beh!
I rolled my eyes. Here he goes again with his over confidence. The Kiefer Ravena way. Tumawa lang siya knowing I was verging on annoyance.
We were silent until my phone beeped. My phone was with Kiefer. He always had it whenever I was on training. Actually he did not demand for it. I gave it to him. Anyway, I looked at the now-lit screen. A message from Josh. I nodded at Kief as he questioningly looked at me. Agad naman niyang inopen ang message and read it aloud.

Pare, alam kong ikaw ang may dala ng phone ni Ly ngayon. Paki maintain lang ng distansya kung ayaw mong magkagulo.
I sighed. Hayy, eto na naman si Josh. I did not give him Kiefer's num so eto everytime na alam niyang si Kief ang may hawak ng phone ko, nagtetext siya ng mga ganyan. Hinayaan ko nalang. Nag-eenjoy naman ako sa mga reactions ni Kiefer, e.
Gaya ngayon. He just creased his forehead, and deleted the message. He has gotten used to these messages after a few days, and what amazes me was that he seemed to be taking it lightly, contrary to my expectations.
Kinuha na niya ang water tumbler ko, at tumayo na. Naglakad siya pabalik ng bench. Kasabay nun ang pagpasok ni Josh sa gym. Yep, whenever he texted, it was always a warning that he was dropping by.
And Josh knew. I told Josh about my confession and everything Cebu. He was actually for me pero in one condition, kailangan pa rin ning i carry on ang plano naming paselosin si Kiefer. Kaya eto siya. Madalas bumibisita sa training. Naipakilala ko na rin siya sa team on our first day back in training from Cebu. Wala namang violent reactions from the team knowing I was already with Kiefer. Saka naiintindihan naman nila bakit kay Josh ako lumapit in the past. Madali siyang natanggap ng lahat lalo na ng sabihin niya ang plano sa team. Nakiride naman lahat. Kaya ayan sila, tuwang tuwa pag nandito si Josh. There's always some action kasi daw.
