I think it's never too late to apologize. Maybe it's too late to be forgiven because they consider there is nothing left to forgive, not anymore . All that's left is ignorance and a bitter taste in their mouths everytime they say your name. But it is never too late or too painful to hear and know that even if a long time has passed, you finally have the courage to say you were wrong.
