~Lucy POV~

I yawned and rubbed my eyes as the daylight peered through the cracks in the curtains. I noticed the space next to me was empty and looked around the room for Natsu. It was then I noticed a piece of paper lying on the bedside table with some scrappy hand writing on it.

Luce, don't worry about me. I'm with Gray as he needed my help with something (nothing bad don't worry) but I'm sorry for leaving you with the She Devil. Please ignore her Lucy and don't believe anything she says. Love you ! Xx <3 <3

I felt the corners of my lips turn upwards into a small smile. He was so sweet and it made my heart warm when he was worried about me.

I quickly did my morning routine and applied a touch of makeup as I had dark circles under my eyes. My stomach then started to grumble, warning me it was time to eat some breakfast.

I made my way downstairs and began to take out some ingredients from the fridge to make pancakes. I got a mixing bowl out and started to mix the ingredients together.

"Cooking are we ?" Said a voice behind me, making me suddenly jump. Flare.

"Yes." I replied focusing on mixing up the pancakes.

"You and Natsu seem pretty close eh ?"

"Well duh, he's my boyfriend." I began mixing the ingredients in the bowl faster, getting annoyed at her presence.

"He was my boyfriend once too, until he was bored of me being his toy and got a new one." I began to feel even angrier. Knowing her and Natsu did that made my blood boil out of jealousy and anger.

"Cool." I replied while pouring the mixture on the pan.

"Have you and Natsu-"

"None of your business ! Now would you mind shutting your annoying mouth and leaving me alone !" I snapped angrily.

"Okay, okay. Calm down."

It wasn't long before she opened her annoying mouth again. "There's a lot of things you don't know about Natsu you know." I raised my eyebrow at her but shook off what she was saying, knowing all she does is lie. "I'm telling you the truth Lucy."

I ignored her and focused on cooking my pancakes. I cautiously flipped them over to the other side  being careful to not burn them.

"You should lose some weight, no wonder you and Natsu still haven't done it. He probably finds you as attractive as a trash bag." She suddenly spoke up.

I flared my nostrils and clenched my teeth. I was furious. She insulted me on something I felt very self conscious about and something most girls do feel self conscious about.

I wished Natsu would just walk through the door and rescue me from this bitch.

I turned the stove off and put my pancakes on a plate and added some strawberries, marshmallows and Nutella on them. I felt Flare eye me up and down but I didn't care. I'm happy with the way I look and I don't want to change that for anyone.
