Chapter 34 - Ambush

~Natsu POV~

I yawned as I got out of bed, feeling a pain stretch through my muscles from the gym session last night.

I promised Lucy I wouldn't fight Loke before we got together so it doesn't count as a promise.

I did some more exercises with the weights and did some cardio before hopping into the shower. I relaxed as I felt the hot water against my skin, soothing me.

After what felt like hours I decided it was about time I got out the shower. I began to get dressed and grabbed the keys. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I looked at the lock screen and saw a message from Lucy.

Natsu, I'm beginning I get worried. You said you'd come see me today but you haven't showed up. Please tell me where you are ? Please don't be doing anything stupid.

~Natsu
I'll be there soon Luce. I just need to sort out something first....love you x

I sighed as I slid my phone back in my pocket. 11pm....Time to head off and fight this idiot.

"Oh look who it is, Dragneel. I thought you'd backed out like the coward that you are." He said leaning against his car with his hands in his pockets.

"Shut up Loke. Let's just get this over and done with. I can't wait to whoop your ass." I said cracking my knuckles and taking position to fight him.

He looked at me and began laughing like a maniac. "Oh Dragneel, you won't be fighting me. You'll be fighting him." I looked over to his direction and noticed someone get out the car, wearing a black hoodie.

"It's been a while, Natsu." Said a voice I knew too well. Sting.

"Sting, what are you doing here ? I'm supposed to be fighting this idiot, not you." I said confused.

"Oh you will be. You'll be fighting all of us." I started at him confused. All of us ?! I looked behind me and realised that I'd been cornered with no way to escape. There were over 10 people standing around me.

"This isn't fair Sting." I said through gritted teeth, trying to hide the fear beginning to build up in me.

"Life's not fair Dragneel, and you're about to find that out very soon." He said as he glared at me with a vicious expression. "Attack !" He shouted pointing at me. The circle I was stuck in immediately closed up. Everyone began hitting me, even Loke.

I could see Sting standing there at the side with a smirk of satisfaction, as I tried to dodge all the attackers.

I managed to pry some people off me and knock them out, in fact some people ended up fighting each other. Loke was the first to go down.

There were only three more to go but I felt my strength dying down. I got punched in the gut causing me to bend over in pain. They took this to their advantage and hit me on the head, causing me to fall to the ground. The minute I hit the ground I knew I was dead meat.

I desperately tried to pry myself up, but I couldn't move. They kept holding me down.

I watched as Sting walked over to me, kicking me in the face while I was looking up at him. He laughed slightly as he extracted a big knife from his pocket. He gently played with the blade while telling his side kicks to move.
