Matt's POV
"So are we going to get more?" Brian asked, walking out the back.
"Yeah soon. I'm just waiting for Peyton to get back."
He nodded, sitting next to me.
We were finally moving into the new house. Brian was helping and it was also the first time he'd been here.
"This place is huge Matt, but nice." He told me.
"Yeah it is, we just liked it straight away."
"But do you really need so much room?"
I looked at him and took a deep breath. We hadn't told anyone about the baby, but now was as good as time as any. "Peyton's pregnant." I told him.
"What?"
I nodded. "Yep, she's pregnant, we're having a baby."
"Well shit, I'm sorry Matt."
I smiled at him. "Don't be, I'm not."
"You're not?" He asked.
"No I'm not." I said. "Actually, I couldn't be happier."
"Wait." He said. "I'm confused, I thought you didn't want kids?"
"Me too." I said standing up. "I didn't think I wanted kids and I didn't, until Peyton got pregnant."
Brian frowned at me. "So you want them now?"
"With Peyton, yes."
I really wished he wouldn't think so much about it because honestly I was as confused by my change of heart as he was.
"Have you told anyone else?" He asked.
I shook my head. "You, Rosie, Blake."
"So Tess doesn't know?"
"No."
He groaned. "Matt seriously, I'm happy for you two, I really am, but you need to realize that when Tess finds out, she'll cause trouble."
I shook my head. "It's none of her business."
"It's not, but in her mind it is. Don't you see." He said. "You wouldn't have kids with her sister, that'll be her first problem with it, the second, she's in love with you Matt, she always has been."
"I don't care what she says." I told him.
"I know but just be prepared for it."
"Prepared for what?" Peyton asked, walking out the back door.
"Prepared for feeding me. If you expect me to help, you need to feed me." Brian told her, standing up.
"Of course, lunch is inside." She laughed.
I held out my arms and she stepped into them.
"How much is left?" She asked me.
"Not much, we'll go over one more time and that'll be it."
"And then we'll officially live in our own house." She said smiling.
"Tonight will be our first night." I murmured, kissing her.
"Do you have anything special planned?" She asked smiling.
"Special as in what?" Maybe I should organise some sort of dinner. "Special as in, well.' She said glancing at Brian, who was still standing there. "You know."
"No? Dinner?" I suggested.
"Well no, well yes dinner, but." And she glanced at Brian again.
Brian just smiled at her.
Brian, can you go inside, start lunch or something?" I asked him. Obviously Peyton wasn't going to tell me while Brian was around.
"Yeah yeah." He mumbled walking off and heading inside.
"Right." I said smiling and pulling her as close as I could. "Spit it out. What the hell are you talking about?"
"Ugh Matt." She groaned. "Are you stupid? I mean have a little fun, of the naked kind."
"Oooooooh." I whispered, kissing her neck. "Mmmm, I guess we could do that."
"Yes." She murmured.
"We can even have dinner naked because it's our house."
She giggled. "Maybe not."
"Yeah." I murmured, kissing up her neck slowly. "But yes baby, I plan on a busy night, just me and you."
"Busy, how busy?" She whispered, running her fingers down my back.
"Very busy." I murmured, kissing her. "All night busy, anywhere we want."
She kissed me passionately, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Oh my god baby." She murmured. "What is this?"
She ran her hands over the front of my jeans.
"You know what that is." I whispered. "And I promise you, I'm going to show you later."
She smiled. "Good." She said, brushing her lips across mine. "I love you."
"And I love you."
She kissed me again then turned and headed back inside.
That woman had a hold on me, on my heart, I loved her, more than anything and I'd do anything for her.
So if Tess wanted to start trouble, she could. I'd be waiting for her, because nobody was getting near Peyton without having to go through me first.
