I looked over at Reginald, my shades still on my face. "What?"
"Who you looking good for?" He asked again pride oozing from him as per usual.
"Myself. Can you move?" I asked him.
"Why you want me to move? Matter fact come here baby you match me perfectly." He said causing me to roll my eyes.
I'm never one to give attitude or be sassy but for some reason he brings it out of me.
I rolled my eyes deciding not to give into him, I got into the car and started up the engine. He looked back at me smirking as if to say 'I dare you' and so I tapped on the gas a little bit.
"Oh shit baby damn." He laughed getting off he car and into the passenger seat quickly.
I sighed becoming annoyed waiting for him to leave.
"Baby you smell good." He said sniffing me.
"Move nasty." I said pushing him away shyly as he kissed on my cheek.
"You mad at me?" He asked taking pictures of me with his phone.
"Stop." I groaned.
"What I do?" He asked once he noticed I was serious.
"I don't feel like talking about it right now. I'm tired and I want to go to bed."
"But we got a date planned." He said.
"No we don't." I said.
"Yeah we do, I said I was picking you up because of my day off." He said as if it was all normal.
"Yeah and you also got upset when I said I was working. You hung up on me." I told him.
"A'taya I didn't hang up on you." He rolled his eyes and I scoffed.
"You hung up on me."
"I rushed you off the phone. There is a difference." He said indifferently.
"Yeah whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"Let's just start our date. We are waisting precious time." He told me and I sighed.
"Fine. Make sure I'm home by eight." I said looking at my watch.
"For real A'taya?" He asked
"Yes." I said and he sighed.
"Alright well let's go by your house and drop this off."
I nodded not wanting to argue with him.
Once we dropped off the car by my house I went inside to freshen up. Although my work day wasn't long I wanted to wipe off the existing make up and also re-curl my hair.
I put on darker makeup so it had more of an evening effect. I went with a gold and black smoky eye, minimal blush, I did my eye brows filling them in a little and dark red lipstick.
I pulled up my curled trusses deciding not on a full pony tail but a half up half down look. I put a little more heat to my hair wanting my curls to look extra bouncy.
Once I was done, I put my heels back on and instead of my blazer, I picked up my camel colored belted shawl collar coat.
"I'm ready." I said coming out of my bedroom.
"Damn girl it took you forever." He said not even looking up from his phone which utterly annoys me.
"I'm sorry, just wanted to freshen up." I said
"Don't you look sexy." He smirked.
I fidgeted a little.
"I mean you look nice." He smirked and led me out of the house his hand firmly at the nape of my back.
