"I know you're not asleep A'taya!" Karen said laying on top of me causing me to groan.
"Move!" I said. Although Karen is small, she is solid.
"Karen get up." I said mugging her.
"Alright alright. You gonna get dressed?"
I yawned sitting up. "For what?"
"Because we going out silly." She said.
"Okay." I nodded. "Will you do my makeup?"
"Oh yes well of course." She winked.
"I'm gonna go shower!" I yelled out to her.
"Alright!" She yelled back and I went into the bathroom to quickly shower.
After calling Reginald and not getting any answers I decided on just taking a nap. Being jet lagged hit me harder than a ton of bricks.
"Sister what you gonna wear?" Karen asked me.
"I'm gonna wear this cowl neck black long sleeve dress. You know the jersey dress so I can wear it with my thigh high boots. Gold jewelry and my camel colored jacket." I shrugged.
"So we are definitely going with a red lip." She nodded.
"Yes ma'am" I said nodding as I began to put on my undergarments.
A lot of people don't realize that the right undergarments can make or break your outfit. Having good spanx, underwear and or bras can help you tremendously when trying to style certain looks.
"Oh that's cute." My sister nodded after I finished putting on my outfit.
"Thanks. That dress looks even better than what I expected." I nodded my head looking at the black sweater dress she had on. It has cut outs on the shoulders.
"Yeah, I love it plus it has long sleeves." She said.
"I think you may need like a necklace or something." I said and then shook my head. "No put on those red shoes and the fur vest I have hanging in my closet." I told her and went and got it.
"That's better." I said smiling.
"Thanks sis." She said. "Now have a seat."
"Okay." I said and grabbed my phone off the charger.
I checked my phone and saw that I have fifteen message notifications. Some from Karen, the church choir group chat and my dad asking who should do Sunday school this Sunday coming. The other, was from Reginald.
From
Reginald: Hey baby, sorry I missed your call. Busy day...I miss youI smiled big at the message and blushed before responding
From
A'taya: Hey you, it's fine. I miss you too.I sent biting my lip and blushing.
"What you looking all happy for?" Karen asked coming into the room with her makeup brushes and a white towel over her.
"I have something to tell you K." I said.
