The sound of footsteps and moving makes me wake up, I open my eyes carefully and see a light haired woman, probably in her late twenties, working on the other side of the bed. I am not sure if I should move or not. My eyes turn to the window and it is still snowing, but it is clear as day.

"What times is it?" I ask and make the women in white jump and hold her hand over her heart.

"I'm sorry." I tell her and rub my eyes. I do not think I have apologized so much in my entire life, since Hunter left.

"It's okay." The woman says with a smile and look at the watch on her arm.

"It's one." She answers. I smile to her as a thank you. Then I look down at myself finding a blanket over me. I guess dad must have dropped in a few times, when I was asleep and I have slept for hours.

"You really made a mess when you came in here yesterday." She sounds a little amused by me. I didn't really mean to make a mess.

"I'm sorry." I tell her again, I can't seem to stop.

"Don't be, it must have been terrible to see her laying her." I just nod and look at Hunter who is still sleeping. She looked the same as yesterday, gone from this world.

"How long have you been together?" I look at her confused.

"I do not believe you are her sister." She chuckles and I snort. Then I sit up in the bed looking around the white room.

"Umm, we first met 7th of May, and I told her I loved her in late June. It is the fifteen of December today." I count in my head, and look at the women with widened eyes.

"It has almost been a half a year." I turn and look down at Hunter.

"Twenty-seven of June I told her." The day I poured out my heart for her. I still remember that she told me I couldn't love her, because she was a complete mess. She is not a mess, she is perfect, and she will always be. I smile and turn to look at the women, and look at her name tag. Amber Hudson.

"She is lucky to have you." She says, smiling and walk towards the door.

"No," I say and make her stop at the door and turn around. She looks at me confused.

"I am the lucky one."

After an hour, I hear dad coming in the door, and I sit up in the bed to look at him. He is having a backpack with him. He gives me a light, but a kind smile.

"Hi," he says and sit down in the chair next to me. I have been lying next to Hunter on and off sleeping.

"Have you eaten?" He asks. I just look at him and he sighs.

"I knew." He says with a flat smile and take out a baguette.

"Its cheese and ham," Dad gives it to me and I take it.

"I know you are picky." He grins. I take the plastic off and start eating, tasting each flavor.

"You know she is not going anywhere, you can easily just go down the hallway and find something to eat." He says in despair and sigh. I know he is worried, I wish he wasn't. I take the last bit and smile to him.
"Happy?" I grin and he nods.

"I talked to the doctor before I came in, there is nothing new. She is in the same condition." He put his hand on my knee.

"She will wake up just be patient." Dad says and pat my knee.

"I am glad you finally got to sleep, you were gone when I left and I came here ten this morning and you were still sleeping. I almost want to thank you." He laughs and so do I.

"Dad?"

"Yeah?" He answers, smiling.

"What happens if she doesn't wake up before Christmas?" He looks taken aback and he rubs his forehead.

"God, I haven't even thought about it. Well, I guess you want to stay." I nod.

"I can't leave you here alone, that's for sure, I do not trust that boy Liam and you are not going to eat if I am not here." He makes me shrink.

"I'll talk to mum and see what we should do, she is the one with all the answers, remember." He says and hit me in the arm, and I chuckle.

"I talked to Mia and John. They are of course going to let you stay. But they are going to come and check on her every day." I nod and give him a small smile. I do not want to see Liam again, after he tried to drag me out of this room. He held me so tight I could barely breathe, and him holding me away from her caused me to panic, because I reached for her hand and I couldn't take it. Looking at her laying there and I move further and further away, ached. I have waited to see her and be with her, and then someone just drags me away from her not long after. I wanted to hit him so bad, but watching Hunter in the bed made me change my mind, she always does.

"I do not really know when at the day they are coming, but behave at least." He says and I roll my eyes.

"I'll go and talk to mom about Christmas and then I will come back later." I nod and he kisses me on the top of my head and walk out the door. I lay back down in the bed and kiss her arm. Sleeping next to her makes the time pass, and I can catch up with all the hours I have missed. Either way there is nothing else I want to do, then to be right here with her.
