"Before we go in don't take anything personal on what my mom says."I told Nick as we got out of the car.

He nodded and took a deep breath and then we walked up to my front door and went in.

My mom was sitting on the recliner and rocking back and forth reading a book. "Mom."I said and went into the living room.

"So this is the boy that got my daughter pregnant."My mom said eyeing Nick. "Hi Mrs.Walton"Nick said as he went over and shook my moms hand.

"Wow what a gentleman."My mom said standing up. "Mom before you say anything we are keeping the baby."I said.

"Okay."She replied. "Okay?"I asked so confused. "Courtney I've been thinking a lot about it and I was your age when I was pregnant with you. I didn't want to listen to anybody but myself and did what I thought would be best which was to keep you.

"I wouldn't change a thing. This is a big responsibility for you guys and you need to work together and help each other out. I will help you too. I'm not going to yell at you and criticize you because that's exactly what I didn't want my mom to do but she did and it made it so much harder.

"I love you and will support you through this. I will support the both of you."My mom said about in tears.

"I love you too."I said getting up and hugging her. "Come on you're apart of the family now."My mom said waving for Nick to come over too.

I didn't know what I got myself into but I knew I had support and help through everything that's going to happen.
