Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 40

The next morning I woke up to my alarm going off it was already 9. And we had to be at the doctor at 10.I was so tired. I turned over and Nick was still sleeping. I kept shaking him to get up but he would not budge. "Nick get up!" I said getting dressed.

"But I don't want too."Nick moaned. "Babe we have to go to the doctor."I said putting on my makeup. Nick got up and started getting ready too. I went in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and by the time I was done Nick was already dressed and ready. I grabbed my phone and keys and I peeked into my moms bedroom and she was still sleeping. I didn't want to wake her up so Nick and I was just going to go.

"Can I drive again?" Nick asked with a huge smile on his face. I laughed and tossed him the keys and we drove off the the OBGYN which was the doctor place we had to go to. When we arrived Nick parked and we walked hand in hand through the doors. I was really nervous and didn't know what to expect.

When we got in I went up to the front desk and checked in. Me and Nick both had to fill out and sign some papers. When we got done signing the papers Nick went back up to the front desk and gave them to the lady. She said the doctor should be out shortly.

Nick and I didn't really talk the whole time.I think he was more nervous than I was. He kept pacing back and forth and these pregnant moms kept looking at him."Nick sit down."I whisper yelled. Nick came back over and sat down and then thats when the doctor came out.  "Mr and Mrs Bean."He called out.

"Nick did you put down your last name under my name?" I asked. "Maybe." He said as we got up and followed the doctor into a room. "Hi my name is Doctor Brown."He said shaking me and Nicks hand. "Hi im Courtney and this is Nick."I said.

"So today we are going to do an Ultra Sound and see if everything is going good so far and then we will take it from there."Doctor Brown said as he layed me back on the chair. I lifted up my shirt and Nick was holding my hand the whole time. He put some gel stuff on it and then rubbed the monitor thing around it. 

"You see the little egg forming." The doctor said pointing to the screen. "Wow." Nick said. "So I am for sure pregnant?" I asked. "Yes ma'm."He replied and cleaned the stuff off my stomach. Nick helped me sit back up and the doctor said "everything is looking good so far and we will make some more follow up appointments." 

"Thank you so much." I said. "If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to call." He said handing me his card. "Are you okay?"Nick asked. I nodded and smiled and then said "lets go get some food."
