Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 26

We got back to the hotel and before Edwin got in the elevator I pulled him out.

"Hey."I said. "Hi."He said looking down. "I'm so sorry."Edwin said. "You really hurt me."I replied. "I know."He said.

"Why would you do that to me?"I asked. Edwin shrugged his shoulders and then all of a sudden he fell to the floor.

"Edwin!"I screamed. I kept shaking him but he wouldn't wake up. "Somebody get some help!"I said screaming and people started surrounding us.

The tears just started flowing from my face as they put Edwin in the back of the ambulance. Me and the boys drove right to the hospital.

"This is crazy."Zach said crying.I wiped the tears off my face so I could stay strong for Zach. We hurried and got out of the rental car they were letting us use and ran into the hospital.

"Is he okay?"Nick said running up o one of the doctors. "I'm sorry. I don't know if he is going to make it or not."The doctor said.

"Wait what's wrong?"I said panicking. "We found traces of a lot of different types of pills in his system.Im sorry but it looks like he was trying to commit suicide."The doctor replied.

The boys were just as shocked as I am. I started bawling my eyes out and Nick did too. Zach was on the phone with his mom. Timmy and Rudan was trying to get ahold of Edwin's mom.

"Why is this happening?"I said crying. Nick wasn't saying anything. "We need more doctors!!"A nurse said yelling coming out of Edwin's room.

I stood up and started running into his room."Whats going on?"I said trying to push past the nurses. "Mam I'm sorry but you cannot be in here right now.

They closed the door and I saw them giving Edwin CPR. That's when it really hit me.
