Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 11

The next morning I woke up and I heard someone in the shower.I looked next to me and Nick wasn't there. And Zach was still sound asleep in his bed so it must have been Nick.

I got up and looked in the mirror. Damn it my eye has gotten bigger it was even hard to open it. It hurt really bad.

We were off another couple days so I thought i should just make a doctors appointment just to get it checked out.

"Hey." Nick said coming out of the bathroom only in his towel. I couldn't help but stare. "Take a picture it will last longer." He smirked.

I blushed and said "Nick can you come to the doctor today with me so I can get my eye checked out?" I asked. "I would but I kind of already made plans with some friends.

"Oh ok." I said and went into the bathroom to get dressed. I wore some sweatpants and a Tshirt because I just wanted to be comfortable.

I wanted someone to come with me to the doctor because I didn't want to be alone since I've never been in Orlando. I went up to the other boys room and knocked on the door.

Edwin answered. "Hey." He said smiling. "Hey. Are you busy today?" I asked him. "I was supposed to go hang out with Timmy but I don't have too."He said.

"Oh well could you maybe come to the doctor with me to get my eye checked out?" I asked shyly. "Yeah sure just let me change real quick." He said smiling.

I smiled back and waited for him on the bed. Rudan and Timmy were both still sleeping. "You ready?" Edwin asked. "Yes." I said getting up.

The hotel manager told us we could go out the back door so we didn't have to get mobbed by the fans. I already call an Uber in Edwin's room so it was already waiting for us.

"Ladies first."Edwin said holding open the car door. "Why thank you." I said laughing. I scooted in the Uber and Edwin got in too.

It only took about 10 minutes to get to the place. We thanked the Uber guy driver and got out. We went into the eye doctor place and checked in.

We sat down and waited to be called back. "You nervous?" Edwin asked. I guess he could tell because I was fidgeting around. I hated doctors. "Yeah just a little bit." I laughed.

"Courtney."The doctor called from the door. I got up and Edwin said "You want me to come with you?" I nodded yes and we went into the little room.

"So i see you got a black eye." The doctor said. "Yeah I got punched in the face. "Ohh. Well usually the swelling will have went down already so it looks like we might have to inject some medicine in it to control it." He said writing some things down.

"Like a shot?" I asked terrified. "Unfortunately yes. But it will be right under your eye and it will hurt a little." The doctor said. "Okay." I replied.

The doctor went out and I looked over at Edwin. "I'm so scared I hate needles." I said. "I'll be right here." He said grabbing onto my hand.

The Doctor came back in and told me to lie down. Edwin came and stood next to me and held my hand. "Okay you will feel a little pain and it may burn going in.

"Ow." I screamed. It hurt so bad when he injected it. I couldn't open my eye up for a couple of minutes. "You're all done. Just take this medicine for the next week and you should be good. If you have any questions just call our office." The doctor said smiling.

"Okay thank you." I said sitting up. "Does it hurt?" Edwin said. "Just a little." I said barley touching it. We called an uber and went to go wait outside.

"Thank you for coming with me today." I said smiling at Edwin. "No problem any time." He said smiling back.

Edwin has been really sweet to me and Nick has just been kind weird lately. Ugh what am I going to do I thought to myself as we sat on a bench waiting for the Uber.
