Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 38

After the talk with my mom I felt a lot better. Me and Nick went upstairs to my room to get some sleep. We were both really tired.

"This is all going to workout baby."Nick replied. I nodded and fell asleep in his arms.

I woke up hearing my mom on the phone.I looked over and Nick was still sleeping. I quietly got out of bed and went downstairs.

"Hey mom."I said as she was making dinner. "Hey sweetie."She replied. "Who were you on the phone with?"I asked.

"I was making you a doctors appointment. You go tomorrow at 10."She replied.

"Ohh okay."I said sitting down at the island. "Mom."I said."Yes?"She asked taking the potatoes out of the oven.

"I'm scared."I said tearing up. My mom looked at me and came over and gave me a big hug. "I know baby. I was too when I was your age. But you guys let this happen and you have to learn to live with it."She said.

"Thanks mom."I said standing up and giving her a big hug.I went back upstairs and my mom yelled "Dinner will be done in 10 minutes!"

I went in my room and Nick was still sleeping. I knew he must have been really tired from his flight and everything so I just let him keep sleeping.

I went into my bathroom and washed my face and put on some sweat pants. I put my hair up and then used the bathroom and came back out and Nick was just waking up.

"Hey baby."Nick said in his freaking hot sleepy voice. "Hey babe."I said going over to sit by him.

"You're so lucky."Nick said cuddling with me. "How?"I asked. "You have a mom that actually cares."He said. "You do too."I said.

"No I don't."Nick said. "Nick it's okay I remember watching your broadcast a long time ago and you explained what happened. You don't have too again. My mom is here for you too not just me."I replied.

Nick started crying and I hugged him tightly. "I love you."He said in between cries. "I love you too."I replied running my fingers through his hair.
