Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 45

The car ride home was silent. I looked out the window the whole time until we pulled up into our driveway.

I got out of the car and ran inside and when I did all the lights were off and then all of a sudden my friends and family all jumped out and said "Surprise!"

I started crying and ran up stairs and locked myself in my room. I heard Nick down stairs explaining why happened and then everybody left.

I heard a knock on my door and I said "Go away."

"Honey it's me." My mom said. I went and opened my door and fell into her arms. "Shh baby it's okay."My mom said rubbing my hair and back.

"Mom how could this happen?"I asked."Stuff like this happens all the time you couldn't have prevented it. You did nothing wrong."My mom replied.

I nodded and then Nick came in. "I'll let you two talk."My mom said getting up.

Nick sat down beside me and grabbed my hands. "Everything will be okay."Nick said.

"No it won't!"I said standing up. "I'm sick and tired of you saying everything's going to be okay all the time!Its not! It's never going to be ok!"I screamed.

Nick walked out of the room and I slammed the door. I hate him I said to myself.

What was happening to our relationship? We are falling apart.
