Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 73

We went to the cemetery and a couple of my moms friends spoke and then that was it. My mom was getting buried.

We all had to leave so I said my last goodbye and went into the car with Nick and Zach.

"I'm gonna miss her so much."I said crying. "I know baby."Nick said patting my back.

My grandma and grandpa got in the car and we were all going to my grandmas friends house because they were having a little get together thing after the funeral.

We drove to my grandmas friends house and there was everybody from the funeral there. We went in and there was food but I don't think I could eat. I'm not even hungry. I can't really feel anything right now.

I went and sat on the couch with Nick and Zach and my grandma and grandpa were talking to people.

I was just sitting there leaning my head on Nick and I heard a very familiar voice. The voice kept coming closer and closer and then I saw her.

It was Nick's ex.The one I saw at the beach that one day. What the fuck is she doing here! She came over to us and Nick looked shocked.

"Hey baby did you miss me?"She said smirking. "What are you doing here?" Nick said standing up.

"Oh you didn't tell her?"She said looking at me. "Tell me what?" I asked. "I'm pregnant."She said laughing.

I looked at Nick and he was speechless. "Wow."I said shaking my head."Seriously what the fuck Nick? How could you do this to me. My mom just died."I screamed.

Everybody started looking at us and I punched her in the face to where she fell to the ground crying. Obviously she was faking.

Nick yelled at me "Courtney why would you do that ? She's pregnant."

"Fuck you!"I said and walked out and I heard Zach calling my name. I just kept walking. "Courtney!"Zach screamed. I finally stopped and he caught up.

"I can't do this anymore."I said."What do you mean?"Zach asked. "I mean i don't want to be here anymore. I hate Nick! I hate him. I can never forgive him after this. First ally and then my mom and then this!"I screamed.

"Courtney you can get through this.Forget Nick, he is a total asshole and doesn't deserve you."Zach said.

I started crying and then I saw a car coming down the street. "I'm sorry Zach."I said and then ran out in front of the car and everything went black.
