Confused//Nick Bean

Chapter 64

I ran after Zach. I took off my vest and found Zach sitting on a bench. I went and sat by him.

"I don't want to talk to you."He replied turning his head. I think he was crying. "I'm sorry Zach."I said nervously. I honestly had no idea what to say or how to handle this situation.

I was still shocked about what happened between me and Nick. "Zach come on."I said. "No how can you just go back to him? I thought that kiss between us meant something."He replied.

"Zach I don't know. Me and you are like brother and sister. You know nothing more could have happened between us."I said.

"But I want it too."He said turning towards me. "I know you do and I'm sorry for leading you on. I'm just not over Nick. We've been through so much together." I replied.

Zach nodded and wiped his tears. "Who wants to go get ice cream?"Rudan asked everybody.

Nick's POV

Damn that kiss with Courtney was intense. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I love her so much she means everything to me. I over heard what she was saying to Zach and I'm not over her  either.

We all got in the car and me and Courtney were in the backseat again. She was looking out the window and smiling.

She was perfect. I just kept staring at her I couldn't stop. She turned and looked at me. I had a big grin on my face I probably looked stupid.

She smiled back and interlocked her hand with mine. I looked at her kind of shocked and she just nodded and smiled.

I'm so glad that we are talking again. The only reason why I went out with all of those other girls was because I kept convincing my self I was over her and I could be happy with someone else.

But the truth is I was miserable with them other girls. I felt nothing with them. I don't think I can ever be happy without Courtney in my life.
