Getting ready (chapter 10)

Anika's POV

Try this on! Lili said as she handed me a bunch of swimsuit. "Lili this is too much! Look you gave a black and white stripes! Neon orange! And what's this? Maria Carey printed? What the hell?" I return them and look for another one. But then again she gave me a two piece rainbow color swimsuit.

"No! I won't wear that!" I said like it has virus in it. She finally gave up and sat down on a sofa. "Fine! I'm kinda tired anyway.. Pick!" She said as she stretch her legs. While the saleslady giggle... "Can you show me your best seller?" I said The saleslady show me the way.. It was a yellow green one piece suit backless.

I show it to lili who was beaming when she saw it.
"That's perfect! But it has to be bolder than that" I kick her leg softly then she burst out laughing.
"I'll take it."

We head to the body shop. We bought a sunscreen and a beach hat.

Lili bought a two piece pink swimsuit.. And she looks like a model! her long leg and coca cola body she's so confident to show it.

Okay..we're ready for the pool party!! Lili screamed..

---Darren's POV----
I brought jk with me.. He can't wait to see lili.. I told him about her and he was like "you have to introduce me!!" Like he was ready for the big buffet...

"Okay,okay" as I raise my hands in the air.he was more excited that me. The pool party is 2 days away. So jk what should I wear? He laugh a little.

"Dude, you could just wear boxers. anika will still love you.." I punch he's shoulder makes him laugh even harder.

We head to a store were they sell swimsuits and trunks.
How about this? Jk showed me a pink and violet trunks. He was laughing when he show it to me. "It will look good on you.." I said as I shove him out of the way..

Then this green trucks got my eye. "I'll take that" I said to the saleslady..
Then a little tight t-shirt. "I'm ready" I said to jk

We head to a book store.cause jk was looking for a gift for lili.. I'll take this book it was "this is what happy looks like" Jk said.

We head home. It's 2 pm. Jk and I head to my room. He was staring at Anika's window.. While I'm busy playing the guitar.. Would you stop doing that? I said to him.

"I'm just hoping that I'll see lili.." He said never leaving Anika's window.
Then i receive a message it was from anika

A-tapos na kami ni lili mag shopping for the pool party! How about you?
I immediately reply..
D- just got home from buying stuff..
A-really? Pati rin kami..
D-is lili there?
A-yes why?
D-jk wants to see her..
A-do jk has a crush on lili?
D- yup.
A-oh my gosh!
D-open your window..
A-okay..

Then jk startled as Anika open her window. I chuckle.
Dude you look like you've seen a ghost. Anika said...
I walk towards the window.. Anika was there.. "Hi chummy!" She said.
Hello!! I greeted back. Jk was speech less all the time.. Till he saw lili..

Give it to her.. I said as I elbowed him..
Not here,not now.. He said in grinned teeth.

Hello! Lili said to jk. Jk was gaping... "Hello! I'm Juan karlos labajo but you can call me jk.." He said Sheepishly.. While nika and I giggled. "Why don't you come over to my house so you could talk properly.." I said. nika and lili nod. They close the window and I think their on there way.. While jk can't believe his meeting lili in 3 mints.

Dude! How do I look? Jk ask as he face the mirror. "Like a human.." I said as I open the door "haha funny.." He answered. he mess his hair and arrange it again.. "Hali kana?" He ask smoothing he's t-shirt.. "You'll be fine.." I said.

Nika knock and I open it naman.. "Chummy!" She said as she jump and hug me. Lili was beside her. They both enter and we hang out at the living room.

We left them talking to each other. when lili saw the book she accidentally hug jk... While jk blush. Nika and I head to the kitchen...

She open the refrigerator and took a 1.5 coca cola.. Then she also took at a cake it was red velvet.. "Chummy where's tito and tita?" She ask. "They attended lynelle's PTA meeting.." She nod and said "I'm just going to use the restroom.." Then head there.. But this evil plan got in my head. I shake and shake and shake the coke till she finally came out. I act like nothing happen.

Want some chummy? She ask.
"No,no.. Baka kulang payan.." She look at me suspicious but continued anyway..

"I can't wait to------ ahhhhhh!!" She screamed. "What the? Darren!"
Hahahahahahahahaha! I laugh. She was wet from her head to her shoes.. Shaking her head and hands.. She shake the coke and point it at me.. Then it burst out.. It got straightly to my face...she laugh and put some icing at my face..

That's what you get! Then stick her tongue out. I also scoop an icing and chase her around the island table..

No! Stop! She said. She stop to shake the coca cola but she was too late.. I already spread the icing to her face.. Then I steal the coke I raise it up high as she tries to grab it.

"Give it back!" She screamed.. I raise it up even more till I was block by the sink. I pause to look at her and examine her face.. Even her face was covered with coke she's still beautiful .She was still trying to get it back then she also stop.. I can feel her warm breath.. Her lips were just inches apart from mine. She look at the floor. "Sorry." She murmured.

She was about to leave when I held her wrist and kiss her.. Her lips taste like coke. While her eyes are wide open... After the kiss she still can't believe it..

"I was hoping that my first kiss will be romantic like on the beach,or garden full of lights, or I wearing a beautiful gown not like this covered in a sticky coke." She said. But Instead answering her I kiss her again. And this time she kiss back...

"But it's more romantic this way.. Wet and wild.." I said in a pervert-ic tone.
"She roll her eyes and said. Were just wet not wild."

-----Anika's POV----

Then jk clap making us jump back..
"You two. May gagawin kayo please make sure na walang makakakita.." Then wink.
"And Anika, first kiss is unexpected. Don't assume someone gonna kiss under the moon light cause it will never happen it's dark. He can't see your lips." Then stick her tongue out.

We just look at each other then laugh. Jk and lili roll there eyes.

Then say "couples.."

We look around the kitchen. It was messy and wet. I almost tripped but good thing Darren catch me on time.

He went straightly to he's room while I change in my room... Then my window suddenly made a sound.

I open it. only to see Darren top less.

"What the?!" I close the curtains and hide. while he laugh.
You little opportunist! I screamed.
Sorry chummy.. You can open your window now. He said
You sure your not spg? I joked
No. Unless you want me to.. And I can feel his smirking..
I open the curtain he was wearing a shirt now.
This is so not like you. Your not a pervert. Then he answered "some things don't change.." Then Smile

Okay,okay this part was kinda well not-like-Darren..cause Darren will never say those words.. Cause he's an angel from above not a pervert.. Lol!
