Long distance (chapter 21)

Anika's POV

It's been 3 months since Darren came here.. And it's the time zone who's keeping us apart. Like I would call him 12 midnight he will text me 1am in the morning Skype was a help but because he has guesting or mall show. it's like twice a week nalang.. FaceTime was okay but seens I change my phone because my iPhone's LCD was crack. Yeah it was the one I throw when lili was not answering.. So I change my phone Into samsung S5. I'm using honey's iPad just to use FaceTime. We would celebrate our monthsary on the phone. I don't have time to visit Philippines because of school and he can't visit me because he's too busy..

Honey's condition gotten worse.. Her platelet isn't normal even her white blood cells isn't.. Of course the reason why honey has leukemia because of abnormal increase of white blood cells.. Her hair is like 20% than her Normal wavey hair.. Sometimes her nose bleeds... And she's too weak to stand up.. She's too young to have this case what would a 5 years old do to deserve this? I'm not blaming our god.. I'm even thankful that he keeps honey healthy at least.. Today is Saturday and I was planing on calling Darren I checked the time and it's 4:57 in London while on Philippines is 11 pm I don't know what Darren's doing but I hope I can communicate with him.. So I texted him..

Me- you awake? :(

Then after like 5mints he replied..

Him- I am now..
Me- did I disturb you?
Him- no, the phones brightness and ringtone woke me up..
Me- I'm sorry, you should go back to sleep maybe may guesting ka bukas.. Good night..
Him- I was just joking! I'm still awake.. Practicing for tomorrow's mall show on cavite..
Me- you should go to sleep! The Darrenatics will notice that your haggard..
Him- it's worth it..
Me- I miss you.. I wish I could hear your voice :((...
Him- then call me..
Me- I can't my calling card has expired.. :( maybe you can call me..
Him- I can't my calling just expired yesterday and I can't buy one cause it's 11 midnight here.."
Me- I'll give you some rest.. Bye chummy! I miss you! :*
Him- I miss you more!

Then it ended.. I miss him like crazy! I want to see him, I want to hear his voice,I want to hug him, I want to touch him.. Damn I'm very addicted to this boy..

"Anika honeys calling you." Mom said.. I'm in the hospital by the way..
"Ate, I miss lynelle.." She said.. " I miss her too.." I said as I sooth her head.. "When will they visit here?" Honey ask.. "I don't know honey eh.. Kuya Darren's very busy and I can't contact him because it's 11 in the evening dun I hope you understand.." I said she nod and close her eyes..

Honey can easily be bruise.. Because of her illness.. Like when she tried standing up then she fall her legs have this violet bruise and it don't heel easily. then her shoulder has one too.. Then I receive a text from the fa ritzy..

"Hey! Wanna come over at pia's house? Almost all the fa ritzy are here. Well except for roselle she's in Rome.."

"Nah, I'll pass.. I still need to take care of honey.."

Actually it was just an alibi.. I don't want to have some fun when I'm not happy at all..
"Baby you should go.." Daddy said.. "No,I'm too lazy.." I excuse.. "Your not a good lier." Daddy replied.. "It's because I'm not lying.." I retorted, "whatever you say.." Daddy said as he kiss mommy goodbye and as he kiss my forehead.. "Say goodbye to honey for me..." Then walk away.. It's been always me and mom since we almost live here.. Like 3 times a week.. I would go home to just hang out or whatever..

"Don't worry baby mag babakasyon tayo dun.." Mommy said. "It's okay.. Para naman Kay honey.." I replied.

---Darren's POV ---
Well damn. I said to my self.. It's been 3 months but it feels like a century! I'm on cavite by the way.. It was last night when Anika texted.. I miss her like nuts! I would write letters like Romeo but damn it won't do.. I mean I want to see her so bad that I even made our picture into wallet size and even my phone wallpaper.. It was the one we have on Paris the eye contact..

"Darren practice this song.." My manager said.. I nod and look at it.. "Does it have to be this song?" I start stumping my feet from the beat and start singing..

"Done?" My manager ask.. I nod and gave him the music sheets.. "Sorry about the song." He Said. "Okay lang po.." I said then smiled "kumusta naman kayo ni Anika?" He ask.. "Okay naman po.. Yung time zones lang talaga yung problema.." I said.. He nod in approval.. Then he sat beside me..

" Alam mo Mayron rin akong nun girlfriend ano Siya Americana Siya.tapos pinabalik Siya nung parents niya sa America dahil Siya daw and mag ha-handle ng company nila.. Mahirap. Lalo nung tatawag Siya sa 3am tapos ako tulog pa.. Minsan naman tatawag ako may Pasok Siya.. Nahirapan kami at parang hindi na mag wo-work out pero nag pakatatag ako. after ilang months mga 7 or8 yata yun.. Nalaman ko Ina-arrange marriage Siya ng kanyang mga magulang sa iba.. Nasaktan ako pero okay lang naka hanap naman ako ng mas mabuti pa.." He said.

I was kinda shock to know Mayron siyang naging girlfriend na Americana.. I smiled at him and said. "Ahhh ganun po ba.." Then chuckled.. Then any minute later my name was being called and all of the crowd shouted.. I grab the mike and said hello as I go to the stage..
