Change plans (chapter 40)

Anika's POV

"What do you mean change plans?" I said over the phone. Obviously stressed about the news gabby told me. It's like 9 in the morning and you'll hear a news that mr.yu change the plan. "Look,as much as I was shock mr.yu said he didn't notice that most of the clothes you'll be wearing was for winter! Oh and also Darren's. It's a good thing that today's November." Gabby said. I roll my eyes and sat hardly at the bed making me bounce. Darren's with lynelle and honey at the arcade. I was planing on catching up to them when this happened. "Wala naman snow dito sa Philippines. So aalis tayo dito?" I ask. "Yes, the two weeks stay here will be shorted into 3 days. So tell Darren to pack his things up cause the next day we will leave. But I still don't know the destination kung saan." He said. I bite my lower lip and just let this news pass by so when I catch up to them I'll have a good mood. Which was destroyed 12 mints ago.

"Fine,I'll tell Darren." I said then hung up. I look at the mirror and fix my hair again. Cause earlier I was pulling my hair out because of the sudden news. Who wouldn't be stressed? Everything was planned. We were staying in Palawan for like 3 weeks and the next thing you'll heard is change plans? The hell?.. I grab the keys from the mirror table and close the door. Waited for the elevator press the button and waited. The door opened and I got in. Press the second floor and just stare at the walls that reflects me.

The moment I entered. I saw lynelle running with a hand full of tickets. Honey was also running hands full of tickets. Then Darren was catching them laughing. He saw me and walk towards me. "So having fun?" I ask. He put his hand behind my back as we keep in touch with the rascals. "Yeah,lynelle was having fun specially with shooting of balls. She cheated though cause where the ball roll over so you can shoot again she was there so most of the balls were shoot. "How about honey?" I ask. He smiled and look at me. "I never thought she likes racing." He said in a amused tone. "Yeah.there was a time when we fought over a racing machine. She liked it because it has brakes.. While I like it because it's neon." I said and smiled evilly he smiled and we just stop. Looking at the kids running around with there parents. I can't believe it. It's just 9 am and you have dozens of kids here playing at different kinds of machine. "So yeah I have a news.." I said. He looked at me and ask. "Okay,what is it?" "Mr.yu change the plan. We'll continue the shoot somewhere on earth. Cause most of the clothes were for winter." I said. "Oh,that. I already know that. It's okay with me... Cause the place they choose was Canada! And you won't believe where?" He said. I roll my eyes and said. "Let me guess? Calgary?" He nod and just continue to look at the kids. "I'll show you our house. I hope you'll enjoy though. Cause your house was bigger that ours." He said. I put my arms around his waist and rest my head on his shoulders. He was 12 inches taller than me.

Then Suddenly he pulled me to the dance central offering me to dance with him. At first I was shy. he was the only who's dancing I was laughing so hard that it made me cry but afterwards I joined him. It was fun a lot of pushing and giggling. He choose another song and this time it was a little faster than the first. We made a lot of mistakes.. We just laugh and after that he dared me to race. We pick a racing machine and drop the coins.. Then it started! I was having fun laughing of my mistakes. I was hit my a truck, bump to the other cars.. At first he was winner but at the second time around I was the one who won... So it's a tie. Then we saw honey and lynelle at the basket ball machine and they were having a hard time to score. So we helped them. The little brats were the cheering squad.. They grab the ticket and redeem it to the counter. They got prizes like hello kitty pillow for honey while lynelle got a Barbie tumbler.

After the playing moments we return to the room and pack our bags. Honey and lynelle were doing it also. Then I saw the journal. I smiled and open it once again. Till I notice a little note at the last page. "Continue to write your journey for me." Then Tita marinel's name at the bottom. That's why it still have so many pages without pictures. I thought tita don't have anything to stick so she left it blank..

Till it was 2pm. i was sleepy Darren was sleepy including the little rascals. Lynelle and honey slept at the middle while Darren and I at the sides. It's a king size bed after all.
But of course before we did, the rascals pick a pillow fight first. It's a good thing it not feathers cause asthma would visit me again...

"Okay stop! Enough! Let's get some sleep." I said and arrange the pillow again. They stop giggling and start laying down. Honey kissed my cheeks and lay down. Lynelle did also and of course she lay down. I looked at Darren and smiled as I cover my self in the blankets.

---Darren's POV---
I woke up from the sound of my ringtone. My eyes adjust from the brightness of my phone it was 7:12 pm. And the one who's calling me was mommy. I turn on the lamp and answer the phone as I step out of the bed.

"Hi! Moommmy!" I said in a happy tone. "Hi! Baby how's lynelle?" She ask. "She's fine. You won't believe it mi.. Everything was so awesome and well unexplainable." I said in a jolly tone. "Something tells me that something big has happened?" She said. I smiled and a little laugh escaped. "Il tell you everything when we got there.." I said. "What do you mean? Your coming here in Canada?" She ask. "Yes,mi.. We'll be having a winter photo shoot there. And a special someone is coming with me." I said a little hint on my voice that I was excited. "Ohhh.. I can't wait! Is it close to us?" She ask. "I won't answer that it's a surprise.." I said then I saw Anika was now awake she was smiling like she already know what I'm doing. I was signaling her to keep silent. She nod and just continue to listen.

"Well I was just checking on you.. Bye honey! Take care of lynelle." Mommy said I smiled and said bye.. I hit the red button. Honey and lynelle was still sleeping. She stood up and walk towards me. "Will tita like your surprise?" She ask. "Oh,she will.. She keeps on talking about you.. Making me miss you more." I smiled and hug her. She hugs back and bury her face in my neck. We stayed like that for a couple of moments till she broke apart. "Maybe this change of plans may be a little fun.." She said then looked me in the eyes. "Little? It will be a lot of fun!"I said then Twirl her around.
