Study buddy/bestfriend/classmate.. (Chapter 2)

Darren's POV
"Hey!nika! I'm here!" waving my arms in the air.. She saw me and ran towards me...
Sorry D! Traffic. she said while catching her breath.. She was wearing a light pink dress above the knee with a black belt around her waist paired with a black doll shoes. Her hair was tied into a messy bun and with a white ribbon headband. It was stunning yet simple... "It's okay.." I manage to say... Let's go inside na? She nod.. So what are we going to watch? We were staring at the board where movies were attach.. She pointed at "stand by me doraemon" she was giggling as she read the caption...
Then turn to look at me..

"Oh c'mon.. You have been a child haven't you? Please let's watch this.. She plead and plead till I finally nod. She keep on jumping then drag me to the counter...

Seens pumayag ka I'm going to pay for the movies okay? She said as she pull her wallet from her purse.. No. I'm going to pay for the tickets it was my idea. I protest..
She smile and said.. "Okay I'm going to buy our popcorn and drinks.."
We were settled. We wait a little longer cause it was still on. 7:30 and there still 10 minutes before it starts..

You can take off your shades and that weird hat now... She said as she shove popcorn to her mouth..
This disguise works! I said proudly...
Or not. Some people were looking at you kanina maybe they thought your going to put some bomb in this mall.. She said cheeck-ly...
Or.. I'm very handsome and looks like Darren espanto... I remove my shades but keep the hat on...

The movie started and nika was wiping her eyes with her handkerchief.. And keep sobbing the next thing you knew she's laughing her butt off.. And next get mad to "damulag"... But said "he's cute"anyway... Until the movie was done... She was about to say "let's watch it again!" But I protest... "We're still goings to watch Jurassic park remember! Let's go!" She got up and take off the 3d glasses.. Then we exit..

We go to the counter again and buy the "Jurassic park" ticket.. And again she bought some popcorn..
"Popcorn addict?" I ask.
"Especially when it's barbecue flavor.." She answered. Then she also bought some drinks..

Let's go? I open the door for her cause she was carrying 2 popcorn and 3different juices..

We sat at the 3third row and she began chewing..
Here.. She handed me a pineapple juice and a water.. And also the popcorn.. What's the water for? I ask.. "You have to take care of your voice.. Don't want to be the reason it got destroyed... "She said without turning to me.. I smiled and start eating the popcorn..
I look at the time.. The movie's about to start at 9:45 and there's still 5 minutes to spare.. So we just eat and talk, and I also remove the shades.. Then this girl come near me..

Are you Darren espanto? She whispered
No. He's not. he gets that a lot but he's not.. Look does Darren wear,hat? Well maybe,he's my boyfriend so yeah he's not Darren... Anika answered.. The girl just move on and nod maybe disappointed.

Really? Boyfriend? I ask
You don't want to? Okay your my fiancé I'm a engage girl without a ring.. She tease..

Fine I'll be your boyfriend..

But your my study buddy/bestfriend/classmate..she said

Yeah, bestfriend.. Well scratch that...

--A F T E R T H E M O V I E---
Well it was fun.. I said as I straight my clothes.. "Are you kidding it was scary! It's a good thing hindi naka 3d... Nika said.. Sipping the last drop of her apple juice.. Then my phone rang...
It was a call from mommy...

M-mommy

D-Hi mommy!
M-Darren! My goodness! Where are you! It's 11 in the midnight! Ani's parents are also worried.. Where are you?
D- sorry..Nika's with me.. We watch some movies mom.. That why umm... where going home late but don't worry uuwi na kami ngayon.. Wanna talk to ani?
M- okay.. I'm going to give the phone to ani's parents...
D- okay.. *gives phone to nika.. Who has this questionic face on*

(A-Anika)
(AP-Anika's parents)
A-hello? Tita?
AP-Anika loise Figueroa ! For crying out loud! Next time please tell us where your going so we won't be worried about you!
A-mom? I'm so sorry! I told yaya rel I'm going to the mall with D.. Didn't she tell you?
AP-she did.. But you didn't tell us what time your going home! We were worried sick!
A- I'm sorry... Don't worry uuwi na kmi ni D...
*hang up*

We look at each other.. She was biting her lower lip.. "I'm so in trouble right now" she said.. C'mon ! D! We have to go home! As she drag me.. I call kuya dex... Our driver

(P.S= people. don't ask me if "yaya rel& kuya dex" are Real.. There not.. Or maybe they are but there not related to Darren okay.. This is just for the sake of the story.. Its coincidence... XOXO)

Were at the car right now.. She has this worried face on..
Hey, don't worry ako ang mag e-explain okay? Just chill.. She look at me and say.. "I don't want them to worry.. They go co-conuts sometimes.. So over protective.. But I understand them..." She was rubbing her hands like they were cold... I grab them and blow to keep them warm.. "There better? I ask.. She just nod.. And she yawn and her eyes were about to close.. I pull her near me.. She rest her head at my shoulder.. I put my hands around her.. She was sound asleep.. These day was tiring but fun&memorable... And I don't want to forget them.. She's been so special to me....
