Pool party (chapter 11)

Anika's POV

Were here!! Daddy shouted.. We rented a van. Darren sat by my side and on the other was lynelle I was in the middle of the espanto siblings.. Lucky me Darren rested his head on my shoulders while lynelle's head was on my lap she was asleep.

Baby,we're here. I said as I gently shake lynelle.. Her eyes is much chinita.. While I also woke up Darren..

"Chummy,wake up we're here.." He open his eyes and stretch his arms.
Well that 2hours driving made me sleep.. He said. He got out and look around.. Kahit bagong gising si lynelle bibo agad..

(Inside)

We place the foods on the table and take a picture of the resort.. It was beautiful it has infinity pool! And the sand is white.. You can even rent a cottage! It's so cool!

Lili remove her t-shirt and short.. She was now wearing her bikini.. And she immediately jump to the pool... Honey joined her. jk jump after..

"Anika jump!" Lili said as she toss me some water.. "Not yet.. I'm just gonna savor the view first.." I walk around and took a picture with me.. Then someone hug me from the back.. It was lynelle "ate kuya is over there.. He wants to see you.." Then run off.. Pinuntahan ko si ren.. He hug me from the back and spin me around..

I slap he's shoulders lightly because he startled me..

The view is awesome..let's take a selfie! He said as he take out he's phone "Sure!" I said gamely.. We took a lot of selfies in my phone and in his go pro.. "Wanna swim with me?" He ask..

Okay.

I took my sun dress off.. When I turn to Darren he was gaping.. He's eyes was kinda wide..

You didn't know your girlfriend has this coca cola body do you? Then I smirk..
He just gave me "un expected look" then Shook his head.. He take off his lose shirt..

Oh my goodness! He's slim! Perfect body.. My conscious said..

"Any minute later the flies will make your mouth there house because you kept your jaw too wide for too long.." He said then smirk.. He hug me and twirl me around till we fell to the pool..

"So race?" I ask
"Are you putting a dare here?"
"Just answer me yes or no?"
"It's okay.."
"So it's a yes?"
"Yes.."

We wore our goggles while lili and the others count down.

I took a full lung breath and start swimming.. I was ahead of him then when I felt the wall I push it to give me a boost.. And when I touch the wall I immediately swing my head so I can breath air..

"I was the winner!"

Nice swimming!, expected from a athlete!,my ate Anika is awesome! They all said as I laugh...

So what's my dare? He ask.
Well.. Spend all your weekends with me! If you don't have any guestings..
He hug me and said.. "Even weekdays.."

Okay.. Stop the sweetness.. Let's all play together.. Mommy said.. They all jump to the pool splashing us....We are all in the pool.. I was enjoying this.. His family and my family.. I never thought that it would be okay for my parents to have a boyfriend in my age..

"We trust Darren.. And We know he will love you.. So better take care of what you have now Anika.. It takes full responsibilities and trust.." Daddy said while my mom was having this little "victory dance.." "I knew it! Darren will be my future son in law!" I was really shock that Time...

Hey you okay? He ask while using one hand to wipe his eyes

We might get you to the cottage first..

Fine.. Then he pull my arms and drag me to the lower part.. The water was on my neck now.. And I was pretty nervous seens I'm not a good floater.. Just a good swimmer..

Everybody body was in the cottage.. Mom have this glass wine on her hands..

Then she start talking
"15 years ago I meet a girl named marinel. She was on the same course as me.. But she proceed to being a nurse.. While I decided to be an accountant.. She was my best friend.. When we found out that she was pregnant to Darren she was so happy.. And 2 months later I got pregnant to Anika.. We were so curious what are babies will look like.. Till Darren came with a very cute eyes and a very beautiful voice.. While I got a girl Anika she was very white and has the same eyes as her grandmother.. *laughs* but that's not the story.. Darren was little back then... They need to go to Canada for a living.. And Anika was 11 months old when we moved to Europe... After 13 years we meet again.. And Mayron rin pala silang baby girl! Same age as honey.. I have to be honest.. The reason honey's name is honey because we have no choice.. I was screaming "honey! She's too big! I can't handle her.." Then after. all I could say is honey.. Then I saw the name of the nurse "Julian" and that's the reason why honeys name is "honey Julian Figueroa" and now we have to leave bacause of honey's condition.. She has leukemia. In two weeks we will go back to Europe to treet her..*then mom gets a little emotional* ummmm this is not the last time we will see each other! It's just it will be while before we see each other again.. So we have to stay healthy and strong!" Mommy raise her glass and said "for honey.." Then tito and tita also raise there glass and said "for honey" then drank it.

We were just looking at them.. "I wish I could stay here.." I said almost in a whispery tone. "I'll wait.. Don't give up On me,and us." He said and smile.
